New to tablets.table purchased.doubt about mem
-
hello everyone:
i'm posting because i've bought a tablet archos arnova 4gb 10.1 android and as i've never handled a tablet, after a few days of tinkering i have a doubt that bothers me.
i should say before exposing the doubt that i've put a 16gb sdcard.
my doubt is:
using the file explorer of the tablet i only find 3 storage points.
sd card(correct)
usb(it's not mounted it says…......correct)
internal storage (i have 300mb free)what i'm looking for is those 4 gb to use them as storage, but i don't know if they correspond to the internal storage and are occupied by the OS, leaving me only 300mb.
on the other hand, using the file explorer of a comic book program, it allows me to go up several levels in the directories, discovering a structure very similar in principle to linux, with the storages in mnt/...........(sorry for the mistakes, but i know nothing about android)
and finally in the tablet settings ->storage, there is a section of nand flash, which says it has 2.5 gb free, but i can't find it through the OS browser.are there those 4 gb that i'm looking for or are they occupied by the OS?
is it dangerous to access the NAND flash as storage?
should i investigate a bit and get another more powerful file explorer?thank you all for reading me, whether you answer or not. good sunday
