DOWNLOAD WINDOWS OEM DISC Act from HP

Hello everyone:

Well, you see, I have an HP PAVILION DEV9738es laptop

It doesn't have a recovery partition installed and on the back of the laptop, certain data is indicated:

WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM OEMAct.

This is the operating system I need, I've tried to contact HP, but I don't receive any response, as the laptop is not under warranty.

I must say that I've gone a bit crazy looking for this type of installation disk to recover my laptop with all its drivers, as it seems that OEM is a company that customizes the Windows disk for each computer, in this case for the company HP, or so I understand.

If anyone had the same laptop as me or knew where I could download the Windows Vista Home Premium OEMAct software, I would be very grateful.

According to the manual, I have to burn the 3 files in iso format to get a Windows Vista DVD. What would be the difference between downloading a Windows Vista from Microsoft and using these three files?

I didn't really understand, as I'm not sure if after creating the iso with those 3 files, the Windows Vista key on my laptop's label will work.

I have a laptop that came with Windows Vista. As soon as I bought it, I formatted it because the factory Windows was full of crap that I didn't want. I used an ISO I found online of Windows Vista RTM, which I was able to install and activate using the key on the sticker. But for some reason, I couldn't find updates on Windows Update. So I put in the factory DVD and everything worked fine.

On the other hand, if you use the factory DVD (from the same brand as the laptop), in most cases the product activates itself.

The problem is that I don't have a factory DVD.

But I really would like to know what the difference is between downloading the Windows ISO from Microsoft, and copying these 3 files.

I've also heard about retail Windows, I suppose they are customized Windows, or something like that, and the other option would be to buy an original Windows Vista DVD
