Hello.
Today, while trying to unlock a government netbook, I have encountered a problem that is making me very frustrated because I do not know the solution.
I unlock them using a "Chip" to make a bridge between two specific points.
THE PROBLEM IS that when I finish assembling it and try to turn it on, IT WON'T LET ME! The lights turn on for 2 seconds and turn off, and nothing turns on!. Please I need help.

Have you tried asking the government what the best way is to unlock their netbooks? The manuals always say "ask the manufacturer" when something goes wrong

Hello friend, to unlock the government laptop (I assume you are talking about a canaima) you do not need any chip, just open the linux terminal and type:

sudo su
Here it will ask for a password that varies depending on the grade you are taking, it must be one of the following:

1st Grade: C@na1mit0
2nd Grade: Segund0Grad0
3rd Grade: Segund0Grad0
4th Grade: Cuart0Grad0
5th Grade: C4na1ma
6th Grade: C4na1ma
High School: C4na1ma

Once identified as super user you must write:
/etc/init.d/dansguardian stop
And you will have the laptop unlocked, if you wanted to lock it again out of fear it would be enough to do /etc/init.d/dansguardian start

If instead of disabling it you want to delete the protection then we would write:

aptitude purge dansguardian
