Problem or not, with ONO
-
Well, I recently hired ONO's 50 megabytes
And I don't have 50 megabytes...
Data:
I live on the 8th floor, so I have about 24 meters of coaxial cable
The device they installed outside has a coaxial input and output and 3 meters of coaxial cable to the router
They installed the router in the dining room, as I currently don't have a PC, I set up the raspberry with an RJ45 cable in the dining room, I did a speed test and it gave me 398 download and 5 upload
As the PC will be in a room, I pulled 25 meters of 130 ohm coaxial cable and it gives me similar values
What happens with the 11 megabytes that I'm missing, do I call ONO's support or is it normal?
I would see losing 5 megabytes as reasonable, but 11
Only 6 neighbors in the building have ONO
And the router is the Netgear

In what units are the 398 downs and 5 ups? Where did you do the test from: a PC, Rpi, mobile…? How is the device you did the test from connected: cable, wifi?

Hola
Mbit/s
Con la raspberry pi2b
Con cable RJ45 clase 6

Until February I will only be with the raspberry because I intended to update my pc and as a family member has messed up his, I have given him mine
In February I suppose the prices will go down and we will see what amount, for the moment I could perform tests with a 486 or with a laptop
I call the SAT or can we consider it normal?
Greetings and thanks -
The Raspberry may not be performing well. When you are testing, is any of the cores at 100%? You can check this with the system monitor by seeing if the total CPU load is 25% or higher.

The CPU is at 15% and at the last moment it marks 25% but automatically drops to 5/10%
P.d I have it with a medium O.C 800 MHz

The coaxial meters do not influence it that way… it would give you other problems like hang-ups or router restarts. With ONO the Mb are guaranteed it's not like ADSL... at least if you connect it by cable... by wifi it's another story.
I don't think it's ONO's fault but without a competent PC to test it with what we can tell you is of little use to you.
Try changing the test or look to change the server (even another country).
What has happened to me a few times is that I have it weeks downloading and when I try a test or something it doesn't go beyond 10Mb the tests... no matter which one I do... the solution is to disconnect the router from the power for 10 minutes and reconnect it.
I attribute it to the torrent so I don't think it will solve anything for you in your case but well.... try it... "Enjuto Seal of Approval"

Espinete has told you the essentials. 1: restart the equipment (cable modem, router, etc.) 2: disconnect any device (mobile, tablet, etc… better if you turn off the wifi, just in case) 3: close any application that may use the internet connection. Better if you start in safe mode with network for the test 4: try with a laptop that is not very old and always connected by cable Basically that's what Ono will tell you if you call them By the way, the speed test that Ono will accept is THIS
