BT sues Google for patent infringement in Android
-
The British Telecom operator has sued Google for the infringement of six patents related to the Android operating system, Google+ and Google Maps.La The British telecommunications company has requested compensation for the “intentional and deliberate infringement” that Google is carrying out. According to the telecommunications company, those from Mountain View are benefiting “from BT's work without authorization”.
If the judicial authorities were to give reason to the British company, it could mean a large outlay for Google. And it is that Android is the most widely used operating system in North America, with a share of more than 40%.
The lawsuit was filed in a district court in Delaware in the United States and represents the expansion of the list of companies that have pending legal issues with Google. BT thus joins giants such as Oracle, Apple, Micrsoft and eBay in legal battles related to copyright infringement.

And you say it... it's always the same story: big fish trying to bite each other... and it will continue to be like this today, if not time will tell.
Thanks for the contribution once again.
Best regards

Very true.
We no longer only have to endure the weariness of the Apple Vs. Android World (Samsung, HTC, etc,…) battles, but now all kinds of companies have also jumped on the bandwagon of offers.
Either the legal authorities start to put deterrent measures against these skirmishes or this is going to end like the "rosary of dawn"...and it doesn't look like it's going to stop for the moment.Best regards

I have already been ignoring all these news for a while, every day I look at my websites of interest I only see lawsuits, it gives the impression that they are doing so badly in sales that they are looking for a second source of income based on lawsuits, they are very heavy with lawsuits and patents, but well I hope in the end it does not turn out as always the consumer is the one affected
