Components for Bf3

Okay, let's break it down
The ram, you recommend I have 6gb, the problem is that I have 2 modules of 1g, is it worth it to use them or is it better to get other modules of 3x2?
I only have 4 slots to put ram and now I have 2 occupied.
The problem is that DDR2 is really expensive but well, we'll see what we do.
I'm totally lost on the graphics, I haven't looked into it in ages, I'll try to do some research this weekend.
I'll send Cobito a private message to see if he can chime in and help us out.
Best regards.

You won't find ddr2 3x2, I think 2x2 would be fine, it's clear that for that platform you have to spend as little as possible, but with the memory and the graphics and a little OC on the micro it will work perfectly.
-
If you don't want to spend a lot, I would put up to 4 GB of decent memory, and an 560 but the TI, unlike the neptunno, people have had and still have quite a few problems with the non-TI ones, or also if not, its AMD equivalent, a 6870 is fine, although for this game, from what I've tried, I like how the Nvidia performs better, for about 200-220€ you get it and the memory is about 40-50€ and I think you have enough for a while until your next full update.
Hehe, I didn't say the Ti in case he ran out of budget. But I would go for the Ti, especially knowing that the normal 560s have some issues.
Although I didn't miss the option of the HD6870, another good candidate

Well, if you see it wrong, look for 2x1 GB and you have 4GB with the ones you already have, but I think it's worth putting something more.Greetings!!

Second-hand RAM is not that expensive. Then the graphics card, if you don't have a lot of budget, to play at your monitor's resolution that is not Full HD, you don't need a graphics cannon either. An Ati 5850 will already move it decently and you can find them at PCcomponentes for less than 100€.
To play in Full HD you already need a graphics card with 1.5 Gigas of RAM, even an SLI of 560 has problems, because the game in Full HD sucks more than a Giga.

I play in full HD with a 560TI of 1GB and 4GB of RAM and it works perfectly well in high details. So I consider that what you say is not true.
I wouldn't spend on DDR2 you have enough and in the future it will be DDR3 or 4 or who knows :risitas: and the graphics card with an environment around 150-200€ will go perfect for playing in high details.
-
You say you play fluidly on full, Bm4n, but I don't play fluidly with everything turned up, I have to play at high settings to be able to do well. -
What game do you play in full you say Bm4n and fluid, I with everything maxed out I don't play fluid I have to play in high, to be able to go well well.
What have I told you about reading things properly? :risitas: I said I play "in full HD" with high details, not that I play "at full"

The last time I saw it didn't say that XD and period, because that's really gluttonous I'm in limbo if I wait for new Nvidia or get the 570 right away I've been waiting a long time and I don't know what to do to see.

We are going to full configurations

I think that if you add more memory (2*2GB plus the ones you have) and a GTX560 (not Ti), you could run BF3 pretty well.
That is, I don't think at full capacity, but pretty decently. However, Cobito has a similar setup to yours, but with a GTX460 (the GTX 560 is an improvement over this, to put it mildly) and I think he could advise you more accurately.Regards!!
P.D: having 6GB could be an advantage, since according to what I've read, 4GB is a bit tight, at least when activating some graphic options.
I agree with the proposed configuration, although you won't be able to play everything at maximum. Once you have 4 gb of RAM, the most limiting component will be the graphics card.
-
I actually had your motherboard and once installed 2 modules of 1 GB and 2 of 2GB without any problems.
Anyway, if you see it as a problem, look for 2x1 GB and you'll have 4GB with the ones you already have, but I think it's worth it to add more.
Best regards!!If I add another 2 modules of 2gb, the motherboard has no problems, almost better to look into it, because there won't be much difference in price and I would have 6gb that will last me longer.

If I can with the 6gb of ram I would like to be able to play well, and that the pc lasts me a few years if not more.

You don't recommend that I upgrade ram? The problem is that my motherboard only accepts DDR2, and in that case I would have to buy another motherboard and that would increase the price even more.

I would try it first to see how it goes, if you need it then expand it, it also depends on how much you want to extend the life of the pc, if you are going to change it within a year, maybe it's not worth it. At the pace this is going, you may not be able to stretch it much if you are demanding with games.

Let's see Caparso, I'm very capricious and I have a vice, the game will run perfectly with a 560 or a 6870, to give two examples, I play in high and it looks good, and for anyone to be normal it's a delight, I speak for myself because I like to play everything at full capacity and that it runs very smoothly, it usually works very well for me, but in 64 maps when you're in a plane and you get into the middle, I'm not convinced by some glitches, which are nonsense for many but for me, for streetlights to appear out of nowhere when you're going crazy with a plane, I don't like it XD.
That said, you don't need to spend a fortune on a game. -
And what model do you want to get? The one you have now is the GTX 570?
Best regards.
-
If I have a 570, and I had put another one on it a few months ago, but as the rumors of the release of new ones are going around, I am waiting.
-
Adding the extra 4gb and the GTX 560, how many years do you think it can last me to play decently?
