Well, I doubt that hard drive is a good deal on certain TVs... it also depends on the format of the files it contains.

well, I plugged the hard drive into a USB port on my TV, but the thing is, I'm looking for the HDMI ports on my TV, (sony kdl...I bought it 2 years ago) and nothing comes up, probably because I'm very clumsy and don't know how to set it up, but they told me at Media Markt that the hard drive was multimedia, by the way, thanks for responding so quickly, what speed you guys have

Nothing that is not a multimedia disc, so then you will have to go to the menu and USB, but what files does your TV support?

PD. Understanding that the disc is fine and is not multimedia… download the manual: http://www.sony.es/support/es/product/KDL-32S5600/manuals and read it in Spanish, in the example page 20. "menu" - "photos and music".

Of course, at Media Markt they are not stupid, they are 'too' smart.
Indeed, if you connect it via USB, it is a conventional external hard drive and it is the TV that has the media player, so you will have to look at the TV manual, as Bm4n says, to see what it plays and how it does it.
