Well, a promise is a debt
Here I leave you a couple of quick photos of the new gadgets I've bought myself.
The source had been taking its time to get it, from hard2mano, and the memos I recently got from there too. I was only missing the motherboard and micro, which arrived on Friday and I didn't have time to assemble them until yesterday. I installed the 64-bit 7 in a bit of a hurry, and now I'm uploading the images taking advantage of the fact that I have a little time, because tonight is a celebration :ugly:

Presentation:

First of all, a little one that is very overclocked and very playful according to the rumors (intel i5 2500K), a small power supply that is acceptable for the beast to run well, although for an SLI or Cross it is likely to be a bit short (Corsair TX650 V2) and some memos that are neither very big nor very small, to load plugins and virtual instruments at will (G.Skill Ripjaws X 2x4Gb DDR3 1600 CL9)

And here is the motherboard that will support them all (ASRock Z77 Extreme4) lots of USB 3.0, SLI and Cross, decent integrated graphics while I save for a bigger one, and little more, jokes aside (for those who are wondering, the 5850 Xtreme stays in Brisbane for watching movies in the living room and playing occasionally, since right now with the new one I will only produce music and little more, hence I take advantage of the integrated one)

And nothing more, the tower is a temporary one of those with psychedelic windows and all, I will put up photos of the beast working soon.
Now it's your turn to talk, companions scold me for not buying an Ivy, for getting a big motherboard whether it's needed or not, for not using the 5850 Xtreme! Come on! xDDD
Any suggestion for optimization will be welcome, of course, as well as any criticism, including the ones already mentioned

P.D.: I must add that due to lack of budget I have to use the stock cooler from intel :llorar:, but soon a decent one will fall, like a Yasya or Noctua NH-U12P, to overclock it of course, to see how far it goes

The source is very good, I don't think you need more for what you're going to build. I have doubts about the future cooler. The motherboard also passes. The processor, you might not notice a difference with an Ivy. It's a matter of stepping it up a bit :ugly.

Very good team. I would build the same micro if I had to update today. The motherboard, pretty cool, I tend to build cheaper motherboards, as long as they allow me to do a decent OC I'm satisfied :ugly:

The memory is good and the power supply… I had the TX650 V1 and it blew up after a year :facepalm: so I bought the current one which cost similar although I preferred the Corsair, but I guess it was bad luck. The V2 is a very good power supply.

I put the Ati 5850 in it and in the living room computer I put a second-hand junk card and started racking up miles ;D

@Nemo, pensé en hacerlo, pero la rama de mi cumpleaños es muy emotiva para mi y como ya iba camino de quedar inactiva pues… :ugly: De todas formas, como regalo de cumpleños, no estaría mal que alguno de nuestros amigos como el sr. Neptunno o el sr. Fassou hiciesen el traspaso de hilo, si lo creen conveniente :sisi:
Gracias por las sugerencias, sobre las memos creo que son las más óptimas dentro de las que tienen disipadores, ya que comparadas con las Corsair son mucho mas bajas. No obstante, haré cálculos muy precisos a la hora de elegir el disipador final.

@amd125, gracias por la revisión :sisi: Sobre la fuente siempre he tenido buenas referencias de Corsair, y aún tiene 4 años de garantía, creo que a Corsair le conviene que aguante ese tiempo por lo menos pero no creo que pete, además, tampoco pretendo meterle una caña excesiva en cuanto a horas de uso al día.
Sobre la opción de permutar la 5850 por una castañera, es tentadora, pero quiero ver películas en grandes condiciones en el salón, que con las gráficas barateras que he probado no consigo mover películas con altas resoluciones en ningún S.O, todas me van de pena :llorar: por eso únicamente la mantendré en ese ordenador... pero está claro que antes o después pasará al equipo nuevo, o si no me haré con una nueva potente para él, tampoco lo descarto como ya comenté antes
