Which processor to choose???

first of all good afternoon to all, I am new to the forum and I hope to learn many things since I like to play a lot and I bought a CPU but I am missing the processor and I need help

this is my PC

Mother Asus p8p67-M pro
8 gb of ram 1333
Source Cooler Master of 550 watts
Cabinet cooler Master HAF 912
Dissipator Cooler Master v8
Hard drive Seagate 750gb
Video card…Nvidia Msi Gtx 570 Twin Frozr Ii Oc

I am looking for a core i5 or core i7 processor, I heard somewhere that the i5 2500k would be the best option to overclock it and get the most out of the parts that my CPU has, I need opinions

Since the motherboard is a P67, better the 2500k… right?

while looking for the 2500k, I got a Core i5 2400 for 1000 pesos (for now) hehe will there be much difference with the 2500k??

because I have been playing Dirt 3, COD Black Ops 1 and 2, Most Wanted 2012, Battlefield 3…. all at full and like nothing, not even a hair out of place...
