Sharp teaches the PN-K321
-
This monitor packs 4k resolution into 32 inches, with an IGZO panel.
The IGZO technology developed by Sharp gets its name from the layer of materials that make it up, indium, gallium and zinc oxide, and improves the screen's response times. Smartphones with this type of screen have already been presented, especially in Japan, and now it's the turn of a 32-inch screen with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, or in other words, 4k or 4 times the resolution of 1920 x 1080 Full HD. This comes to confirm another of the benefits of IGZO panels, the possibility of achieving much higher pixel densities per inch than conventional panels.
It will be aimed at a more professional market than domestic, its price of 5,500 dollars is not within reach of many pockets, a really high price for a monitor of that size. It is known that it has HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, although we will have to wait for the CES in January 2013 to know all the details and be able to see it live.
PD: only for the rich.

and how is it going to connect to the PC? because the DVI dual link doesn't go beyond 2560x1600… ¬¬

Pos mu easy incredi, it connects via IGZO fiber cable, as its name suggests :ugly: :ugly: :ugly: :ugly:
I'm going with the illusion of buying a 24" full HD this Christmas and I read this... depression at the ready :alone:

Voy yo con la ilusión de comprarme un full HD de 24" esta navidad y leo esto… depresión al canto :alone:
por mucha resolucion que tenga el monitor, si la grafica esta limitada a 2560x1600… o hacen un nuevo tipo de conexion para las graficas o hacen el apaño chapucero de ponerle varios cables como si fueran varios monitores

Best regards -
Gigabyte already has a motherboard that supports 4k resolutions, connecting two Thunderbolt cables.
