After seeing that many of you are regular consumers of cinema, whether it's paid or free :troll:
I thought I'd ask, how many of you are users of filmaffinity. It would be good to discover new movies, see reviews, etc. beyond the soul mates that recommend you on the page. Also to see what strange things you watch ¬¬ :ugly: :ugly:
So that's it, my nick on filmaffinity is Kromann. And yours??
-
I am not a filmaffinity user, but your caralibro list is missing plenty of titles starring Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Jason Staham… If you want, I can help you add movies :ugly:

I really love Terry Gilliam. I discovered him a year ago during my post-Kubrickian era. And then there's David Lynch, a director with whom I have a love-hate relationship.
I don't know. The truth is that lately I've seen little cinema due to lack of time, but the seventh art is one of the great pleasures I have, even above reading.

today I just watched ip man in Spanish since I watched it in Chinese before, I've been a fan of wing chun since I was little XD, and I caught the pinkfloyd one the other day in HD what great stuff, I never get tired of the wall or high hopes.
P.D
I'm already registered my nick is TECNHO.

I often go in to check out movies but I am not registered.
I think it's an excellent website for any film lover, especially if you like non-commercial cinema as is my case. I also like commercial cinema, but everything has its time :troll:
-
I've been consuming cinema like a junkie for a few years now and only good movies or GREAT movies xD
I filter a lot on Filmaffinity, along with IMDb it's the best but the truth is that I haven't felt like registering :ugly
I quote a samurai trilogy but as I'm being lazy I'll put only one, "The Hidden Blade" :troll: They're unrelated but anyway, 3 of the best movies in the genre.
I recently also saw one of the best legal movies, the polka of the year. It turns out that it was recently chosen by the guild as the best movie in the genre (12 Angry Men).
Editing: I'll put another one right away that I've just watched jejeje "The Pianist".
-
You've seen Chan-Wook Park's revenge trilogy (especially Old Boy) and you tell me
they mess you up mentally, like for example Guy Ritchie's Revolver... I love cinema that's fully thought out, the kind that leaves you stunned when it's over :ugly: -
The thing about good movies is relative, because to each their own, I watch everything I can find and there are few things I haven't been able to finish and I think the only ones I can't watch are the Twilight ones XD

you're not mentally messed up, like for example Guy Ritchie's "Revolver"... I love cinema that's fully thought out, the kind that leaves you stunned when it's over :ugly:I've seen that trilogy, very good but as Tecnho says, to each their own. I'll stick with mine.
PD: As I said, sympathy ;D
Editing: Damn, for a Black mirror trilogy. Work for those who haven't seen it :ugly:

I am a regular user of filmaffinity and Imdb but I am not registered.
Best regards.

Aren't more movies being reviewed around here?
I recommend a geeky stop-motion series, 10-minute episodes (humor): Robot chicken.
-
I am a man of classics and I see little novelty lately, yesterday I bought the Godfather trilogy in BR, Blood Brothers in BR and Saving Private Ryan special edition in BR 60€uretes all, relatively new I have seen these days "Kill them softly" since I liked the cast and well it is not bad I like that genre a lot but I expected something more like one of ours.
This week I will watch "Warlords" to see how it is and "The con man" and something will surely fall, now I am re-watching star wars that I have the BR and I take advantage of the DTS-HD they have.
I am hunting with a bow for the extended version of ESDLA in BR but they are apparently out of stock they will release a new edition soon for the hobbit and I had them booked at 66€.
-
Aren't any more blockbusters being discussed around here?
I recommend a geeky stop-motion series, 10-minute episodes (humor): Robot chicken.
Robot chicken's episodes are the best, I usually record them on Fridays on TNT, I stumbled upon it one day at 2 am and the Bane vs Batman duel was amazing, a very good miniseries.
-
Well, I watched all 5 Wrong Turn (Km 666) movies last night, and seeing that creature in the first video reminded me of the blood festival… They're pretty bad, as bloody as they can be, but they're entertaining xD
Regards

Can you believe that until today I had never seen in the control panel that they had commented on the post? xD
I thought I would go to infinity of posts without a response xD
The interesting thing about registering and rating movies is that it then calculates soul mates, you can vote on movie tours, and above all access recommendations that are based on profiles with similar ratings to yours and that you can filter by years and genres. The truth is that it works wonderfully.
I have rated about 450 titles in a week xD
Regarding my list on Facebook, it is normal that it lacks titles, it has been a while since I last updated it xD
It is still under construction, but you can create different lists that you can publish. Here is one:

I'm going crazy trying to find a couple of Spanish language IP MAN movies that I saw when they came out but want to buy, because after reading about this great shifu as a kid, I started doing WT and now I want to have these two gems, I can't find them in any store except the first one but in DVD with pretty poor quality, do you know any online store that sells them? it's ridiculous that they are available in France, Germany, United Kingdom and Italy and not here and if you find them in divx cutremente XD
