      @Patagonico:

I've been testing it in games and it generally performs more than double the GTX 580. The Asic is 76.5% for me, although I still don't understand what it means, I'm reading the guide you posted about GPU Boost.

      Regards.

It means the quality of the chip and with that Asic you can put the 1202 bios, I suppose your card with boost reaches 1006 MHz so it's a good card although Nvidia is putting pretty bad asics, the 65% ones didn't even have to be Titans, they had to be for a more cut and cheaper range.

Register it on the Zotac website to see if you get the extra 3 year warranty.

      regards

Well then I got a good one although for now I don't think I'll modify the bios yesterday I tried the boost a little I saw 1000 in gpu-z but I don't know what I touched in the Evga precision (I think K-boost) then the graphics in idle did not go below 56º when before it was at 30ºC, I uninstalled everything but nothing still at that temperature even turning off and on it went up the same in a few minutes.

I had to format, I also bought a Corsair 240Gb SSD and let the Intel of 80Gb rest so there wasn't much drama there and the graphics went back to 30ºC in idle

I just registered the graphics on the Zotac website, since they told me in the store that for Zotac you have to send to Zotac Usa for RMA (I hope not) I haven't received the confirmation yet.

Now with these modified bios doesn't the temperature spike?

        regards.

          Hi,

I'm introducing myself, as I'm new here. I'm a computer scientist, and I'm quite into gaming. I've been following several threads for a while now, and it seems like I've finally decided to join in.
I'm about to buy a Titan, and although I know that the brand doesn't change the final product, because they all come from NVIDIA, it seems that ASUS ones come out well. And from what I can see, these ZOTAC ones do too. Where did you buy yours?
          Best regards

Patagonico, I have opened a thread with the analysis of GPU Boost 2.0 and the overclocking of the Titan that I posted in another forum, so that you can also consult it here:

GPU Boost 2.0 - Funcionamiento y overclock de la Geforce Titan - HardLimit

The K-Boost what it does is to fix the voltage, so that it doesn't go down even when it's at rest, that's why your temperatures were getting so high. It's for those who want to squeeze out one more point in some benchmark, but it's not at all a recommendable option, don't touch it. The bios that I put in, if it goes down in 2d, so the temperatures go up as normal from the overclock that you apply to it. In fact, I have better temperatures now at 1,200 Mhz than it came from the factory, since I created a custom fan profile that keeps it cooler (from the factory, if you turned up the fan it increased the Throttling, the consumption limit was so tight that even that influenced it, as ELP3 mentioned here). Saludos

              Wenas,

I think the same. I bought it from a review. That said, the fact that Zotac gives you a five-year warranty is an interesting addition if you find it at the same price. eVGA gives a lifetime warranty, but only in the USA as far as I know.

When choosing it, honestly, choose the one that gives you the most courage....xD. Or find a cheaper one. They all go exactly the same, some get better OC than others, but that's a lottery....

Thanks. Actually, I know you're right, it's a lottery, but statistically, all the asus I've seen had good asic, while in other brands it's more random.

It may be, I haven't stopped to buy by asic's. Mine have 81,4 % an EVGA SC, 72,5 and 69,7% the Gigabyte.

                      @Pepillo:

                      Saludos.-

As I recommended to xenxo_80, don't rush and first test that serial card properly. If you're not convinced by the Throtlling or want more overclocking, then try one of the bios. In the other thread I opened are the ones from the eVGA forum, which is the one I use and it works very well for me. Jotele will probably post his "collection" of bios in a few days as well. They are all variations of the same one, the one Naemon put on OCN.

                        Regards

From what I read in that link, in the case of RMA, you can go back to the original bios, right? I don't want to mess it up and fight with the store or Zotac, for now I'm testing and very satisfied, but if you can really get 20% more at the same temperature, maybe I'll be tempted ;D.

I'll read the guide you posted carefully and the links, in fact, yesterday I put the same values as the guide: gpu clock + 124 and mem clock + 100 and it worked well, improving from 6 to 8 fps in bioshock.

                          Regards.

In theory, if you make a copy of the original and flash it again, you can process RMA if you have problems.

As for overclocking, it scales very well with everything you increase the Core. It's not worth it to increase the memory much, you increase consumption and it's not noticeable, the 384-bit bus gives it a greater bandwidth than the 680 series, which did benefit from increasing the memory.

                            Greetings

Zotac, stock at supplier. Ask them, if they would receive Asus..

Asus, and Gigabyte in stock, cheaper than the Zotac.

I beat records of bad ASICs having a GTX 670 DirectCU II, I can't tell you more about that.

And I repeat that it is pure statistics, I do not have 100% sure data on anything.
