Portabilidad Yoigo > Movistar, doubts
-
Hello!
My Yoigo contract ended about a month ago, and I'm really happy with this company, but I want to switch to Movistar to merge it with my landline/ADSL (here I can't choose anything else, Movistar has the exclusive in the community for two years after having installed the lines recently).
The thing is that I want to do the portability and see what I can get, but I see real atrocities and non-existent discounts. For example, a Galaxy Ace 2 costs €180 counting the discount for doing Fusion, and if I go to the Movistar website and look with just portability they say that the same mobile is almost €250 :ugly:, what are they talking about?, it's cheaper to buy it unlocked!
I don't know if something can be done, but given the prices I prefer to continue with my rooted Ace 1 and with the modification to use part of the SD as internal memory, which is the biggest problem with this phone.
How do you see it?

Well, you comment on the matter in a timely manner. My father has just ported to Vomistar from Sobafone to retire his old Samsung ZV60, attracted by a couple of offers: -LG Optimus L3 for 120€ in several installments -Sony Xperia Tipo for 140€ in several installments Both adhering to his contract for fixed + ADSL + imagenio, which is the relevant data in this matter… Well, to date, they have made the portability but have delayed him, claiming that they cannot give him any of the mobiles he suggested at that price and in installments, I think they said that because by adhering the contract to the payment of fixed + ADSL + imagenio, he is now with his old mobile, also unusable as it is only from Sobafone, and with the new SIM activated, the days running and unable to use it as he does not have a new mobile. My recommendation is that you look at it VERY thoroughly and in detail, because every offer from these people has small print. And the truth, if you are happy with the company you have, do not let yourself be seduced by new, more powerful and attractive mobiles, it is more cost-effective to look for one sealed in H2M or save a few euros and buy it free when you can, because the rest is getting into a shirt of eleven varas. If the change is to merge with the fixed/adsl, because if not, I wouldn't do it.
My current expenses on communications:
Mobile (Yoigo) > 22€ minimum consumption
Fixed + ADSL (Movistar) > 42€ (I don't know how much is left on that promotion because it wasn't forever)
Internet 3G (Movistar) > 52€
Total >>> 116€And I want to keep:
Mobile + Fixed + ADSL (Movistar Fusion) > 61€
Obviously the biggest saving is in brushing off the mobile internet line, we'll see what alternative I come up with, if "free" or some other way.

If you have a good 3G flat rate on your mobile, you can use your mobile to connect a PC. I still think it's better to lower your bill and buy an unlocked mobile. Those 250€ they say about the ICE will almost get you an unlocked Xperia S. I'm currently using Pepephone with a Pulpo plan and I don't go over 12-13€ a month. To be honest, I call very little, but the rate per minute is very low.
See if the merger is worth it for you. -
Buy the nexus 4 free that is for 299€ and forget about permanence

I hadn't read this comment, you might be interested in I have:
- Fixed line (free landlines, and mobiles on weekends) and ADSL 10mb -Movistar- for 20+7€ of line (that is half the price in both)
- Mobile 150min + 2GB of internet (which I use shared for the tablet and laptop) -Simyo- for 20€
Total 47€ plus VAT
Movistar always makes offers if you ask for them, and if not Jazztel has similar prices…

Did they already fix the camera glass? because it wasn't photographic and had quite a few problems.

I have fusion and I'm very happy. Especially for having 500 minutes to talk, and the gb of internet. If you have to share the connection and you see that it's a bit short for you:
Individuals > Movistar Fusion Extra 1GBAlthough really the best thing to have a 3g modem is this:
Mobile Tariffs for individuals | Ocean's NetworkTariff of 25 > 5gb of data, 100min and 300sms. The one of 19 euros you have 2gb and 70 min.
And in adsl if you are not interested in telephone they have 10mb for 18 euros. With telephone 22.
With tuenti you have (being able to also choose prepaid modality, I use it for the modem) 6 for 1gb and 15 for 3gb. If you want tuenti I have invitations with a discount. Movistar coverage.

As for the mobile, the most I've ever paid for one in my life has been 70€, and I don't plan to change that much.
Deeiivid, the rates you put for data are very interesting, because the one from Oceans of 5Gb for example comes out to half of what I have from Movistar also of 5Gb, although I'm going to think about reducing my data consumption to just what is necessary and perhaps get the one from Tuenti of 3Gb. Another option is that extra Giga from Fusion, but it would be more convenient for me to duplicate the SIM and I think in that case it's 3€ more per month.
