91 @IGN
86 @MetascoreI imagine you're already tired of seeing videos of the game, because since the last E3 we've seen everything. I'll give you my opinion even though I've just started it, the idea at first seems very interesting to me: a younger, more inexperienced Lara who still doesn't accept her role as an adventurer faces a dark, abandoned and dangerous environment.
As usual, we'll have many doses of platforming and confrontations with animals but with some novelties. We'll be asked for things that are not usual, in no way can it be said that this game is a survival horror but it takes details like a darker plot, many more enemies and the need to improve and search for tools and points to survive although that really is a touch of RPG. There's really one point that I don't like too much which is that in certain parts there's no choice but to fight "hand to hand" another touch in this case to FPS, and it becomes suspiciously very similar to Uncharted so we can no longer say who copies whom.
So we have a classic Tomb Raider game with graphics similar to Underworld, which I liked very much, and a cut very similar but returning to a darker story as happened in previous games of the saga and with touches of survival, RPG and FPS… so no, it's not a game to get bored. And without a doubt the fans enjoy a lot seeing a young and more fragile Lara, although to deceive ourselves she still is a platform game and although with more blood, sweat and tears she has superhuman abilities.
So good, it's a great game but it disappoints me a little to think that it was going to be a survival because I love the genre and it also wouldn't hurt the franchise a little more realism which maybe Uncharted has despite its moments of epic Hollywood the guy still looks a bit goofy.
The graphics are not like Crysis and although at first it seems a bit weak, they are really very beautiful with well applied filters and very successful textures, almost at the level of Uncharted although less colorful because of the type of story.
Act. Well, I've already passed the halfway point of the game and the truth is that improving the weapons is a highlight and the bow is one of the best. It's complicated to be able to carry a rhythm and have everything at full capacity so it makes you choose what you prefer to improve both in skills and in weapons and that changes the way of playing and confronting enemies a bit, I think that's something completely new in the saga.
As they comment in the Eurogamer video (comment #10) it lacks a bit of grace to the script as Uncharted has but it leaves you freedom to move wherever you want and go at your own pace if you want to look for all the treasures and tombs or go directly to the plot and that's very positive because it doesn't give you the feeling of going on rails.
The good thing is that the story goes on (we'll see the end...), it starts very fast and with action not like others that start slow and with many explanations (then you'll see flashbacks from before the island) and I even thought that the game lasted very little because it seems to end the story but it gives changes of rhythm and changes of situation perhaps somewhat sudden, to take you from one side to another, quite epic like the one of the plane. And as you get fragments you find out the background story, as always with fantastic touches, which I still don't have fully fitted but it's very interesting.
I would give it a
7,58 maybe because of the hype and for not having been more daring leaving something a bit watered down. -
Do you play in full screen? I say this because of the comment they make here.

Game on the PS3, Tomb Raider is a console game, Titan losers :troll: haha
-
On the one hand, you could have put a bit more effort into the first post, with some image, video or general information about the game, and on the other, are you messing with the PeCeros? :osvaisacagar:
Salu2!
PD: where will Neptunno have gone

You rush and then you complain…
Running audiovisuals! Of all, I only intended to be an opinion article, then each one puts their own, if you want me to hang something more in the first message, let me know. I'm messing with the Titans :troll: PD. Everything I hang from IGN is from the UK, from the original, I don't like the USA version or the Spanish @Marca...
-
PD. Todo lo que cuelgo de IGN es de UK, del original, no me gusta nada la version USA ni la Española @Marca…

Neptunno where are you that you don't comment? we are all waiting for your opinion on the new Lara...

It looks amazing and apparently in the trailer (with an Indiana Jones moment at the end, running in front of the engine included), it retains that adventurous spirit and that atmosphere of mystery that hooked us in the previous editions.
Without a doubt it will be one of the games that I will try...as soon as I have some time to dedicate to it. :wall:Best regards.

Here I leave you a walkthrough commented by the guys from Eurogamer, as I share their impressions, which comment on several interesting details. I recommend their YouTube channel because they have commented videos, tricks and good opinions from classic players.

Well, I've already passed the halfway point of the game and honestly, the ability to upgrade weapons is a big plus, and the bow is one of the best. It's challenging to keep up the pace and have everything maxed out, so it forces you to choose what you want to improve, both in skills and weapons, and that changes the way you play and face enemies a bit. I think that's something completely new in the series.
As they mention in the Eurogamer video, the script lacks a bit of charm, like Uncharted, but it gives you the freedom to move wherever you want and go at your own pace if you want to search for all the treasures and tombs or go straight to the plot, and that's very positive because it doesn't make you feel like you're on rails.
The good thing is that the story gets better (we'll see the ending...), it starts very fast and with action, unlike others that start slow and with a lot of explanations (then you'll see flashbacks from before the island) and I even thought the game was too short because it seems like the story ends, but it keeps changing pace and situations, perhaps a bit suddenly, to take you from one side to another, quite epic like the plane scene. And as you collect fragments, you learn about the background story, as always with fantastic touches, which I haven't fully figured out yet, but it's interesting.

It seems unbelievable that they only change Lara's hair, who, on the other hand, on the PC is like a mop... you have to get used to it I suppose. But anyway, on the PS3 it looks great, Lara is still a console girl ?
-
It seems they forgot about the
behaviorof hair when it's wet XD -
New drivers for lara crosft:
Lara Croft Joins GeForce with 45% Performance GainSaludos.

I play on the PS3, Tomb Raider is a console game, Titan loooosers :troll: jaja
I just joined the console gamers taking advantage of the prices of the PS3 Super Slim 12gb (and a 250gb SATA drive running around the house) and that there are already many great titles at a good price. So now… to play on the console and to Linux the PCs! :troll:

Stop by the marketplace if you want to fill up the shelf a bit

I found this wallpaper really funny: Tomb Raider Lara Croft reborn artwork playground fan art - Wallpaper (#2686455) / Wallbase.cc I think it's the biggest flaw of the game, they went a bit too far with Lara's brutality, the explosive arrows are too much lol. But anyway, I finished it, good ending, not too difficult but quite epic "a survivor is born"

Uff, that's not it... I've read a lot of info about it and I must say that I'm eager to "get my hands on Lara", I mean... play the new TR :ugly:
But between work stories, family issues, the motorcycle and that I'm re-playing the two HL expansions and Black Mesa Source, I have little time!!!
That said, I've enjoyed it like a kid, really.Besides, I'd rather have it polished well before I start... I'm tired of games that you buy as soon as they come out and you eat all the bugs you can.
Anyway... my list is so long, that I'm just playing as I feel like it, which stresses me out, haha.
But I do plan to play it at least this year xDDDDI've just joined the console gamers taking advantage of the PS3 Super Slim 12gb prices (and a 250gb SATA drive lying around the house) and that there are already many great titles at good prices. So now... to play on the console and Linux on PCs! :troll:
Traitor... :osvaisacagar:
Just kidding, enjoy it ;D
-
The wallpaper is funny, although if you look at the accentuation of features, you discover that Lara has changed so much since her origins that it becomes nostalgic to think about the first titles… :llorar:
However, I must already have it waiting for me at the base of operations, so this weekend I will have to try it with the pair of graphics at 1080p, and therefore check "the lack of smoothness that ATI gives, as well as the multi-GPU configurations mounted on a POBRE i5 2500K stock" :troll:
Don't let anyone get angry with me, man, it's just a wink
PD: Man Neptunno, lucky are the eyes!!

Best regards!
