      Good morning everyone:

I'm reading threads about tablets and I'm still just as lost.

My father is a salesman and he wants me to look into a tablet for work. The use would be to show images and files (pdf, word and excel), and maybe to give him some email use, but not much more.

I'm looking at several models and reading threads but it's all a bit much, and some people say one model is good and others say it's not, so I don't know what to do.

      Models I've been looking at:

      • Blusens Touch 96 9.7" (against it they say it has an IPS screen, and that the touch time is slow)
      • Bq Edison 10.1" 16GB (apparently it doesn't have a very good screen)

I've looked at other options like the Samsung tab 2, but they go up in price and there are so many models that I get confused.

What do you recommend? The price should be around 200.

      Thanks in advance.

Of those, I stick with the BQ in principle because I have tried it, it seems to me a very good tablet for that price, it has a good quality screen that I liked a lot, it works very well with games, the battery performs well although a little more duration would be good, I think the people at BQ are getting their act together and provide good update support.
A couple of drawbacks is that it doesn't have GPS I think this version, but if you don't use it then you can do without, then if you are going to use it for work and carry it if it doesn't have wifi and needs a network it's bad, there is a 3g version for about 50€ more I think.

          Thanks Tecnho for responding:

So we are between these two:

          Bq Edison 10.1" 16GB
          Bq Edison 3G 10.1" 16GB

The GPS issue is not a problem, I wouldn't use it.

The 3G connection issue, well I don't know if he wants to get a modem to connect or not, since in reality, he hardly uses it, and if he wanted to, he could use the wifi in the meantime.

Today I'll talk to him and let him decide for one or the other.

And I'm asking for it because on for what he needs it because the pc doesn't work very well for him.

          Regards and thanks.

Because by the way, it's worth buying for 45 euros plus the

            TABLET SAMSUNG TAB2 10,1 GT-P5110TSAPH SILVER 16GB

            Or not worth it?

            Regards.

If you didn't need those inches I would go for this Nexus 7 (32 GB, Wi-Fi + Mobile data, Unlocked) - Google Play with 3g and everything you need but it goes for 299.

If you're looking for a good quality screen and 3g the bq is a very good device.

For around 250€ I think it's hard to find something decent and I haven't tried other similar ones in those ranges, the Samsung you put up is probably better and in several aspects it is but for the price difference and that Samsung not having 3g I would go for the BQ or rather than Samsung I would go for 7" and get the Nexus.

Better that it's 10 inches since it's for teaching images and files like pdf and I prefer it to be seen a little bigger.

I rule out the nexus, I know it's a better machine but if the bq is enough I don't want to spend more money because the use it will be given will only be photos and opening files as safely as possible.

Another thing is that I would give it much more use like on a pc, but I know that won't be the case.

So I opt for the bq, now I'll tell you if you intend to connect via modem to get or not the one that has 3G

                Regards.
