Before installing any Mod Rom or kernel that is not stock, we must have the bootloader unlocked, therefore the first step will be to check if our terminal has the bootloader unlocked. This step is the simplest and we can check it on the official page of Sony. However, for those who are lazy, I will indicate how we can verify it. In the same way, when the software indicated in the links has been installed, once the terminal has been recognized in our operating system, we must have closed the PC companion process that we will have loaded in the system memory.

1º We open the numeric keypad of the terminal and insert the following: ##7378423##

2º Go to Service info/Configuration****Rooting status if your phone says Bootloader unlock allowed yess, then we have it prepared to be able to open it. Obviously if it says not, then this tutorial or guide is not useful and we would have to resort to patches to be able to install Mod Rom.

**3º **Now we click yess i'm sure

**4º **We accept the legal terms.

5º We write our name, valid email and the first 14 digits of your IMEI, #06# with this command our IMEI appears. We accept.

6º We will receive a code in our email that we will save, it is of vital importance not to lose it so as not to have to repeat the process. After this code will serve to unlock the bootloader.

Now that we already have the code and have installed the tools and drivers, the process comes a bit more complicated, but following step by step it should not give problems.

**7º **We extract the fastboot folder and open it (I recommend inserting the folder on the desktop)

In my case I have the folder on the desktop in the following directory: C:\\Dcouments and Settings\\withoname\\Escritorio\\fastboot

we should write cd C:\\Documents and Settings\\withoname (Administrator or user)\\Escritorio\\fastboot and press enter.

8º We connect the terminal via USB in fastboot mode, this is as follows: we connect the cable to the phone, it will be turned off, we press the power button and the volume + key and then we connect the phone cable to the PC.

**9º **We write the following fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version in the Windows console as we had in the image and it will return a value of 0.5. Then we have it connected correctly in fastboot mode and we will be able to proceed to unlock the bootloader.

10º We go back to fastboot in the Windows console and write the following: fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xKEY (Key is the key we have in our email) and we execute

And if we have carried out all these steps correctly we will already be able to enjoy the Mod Roms that we like the most
