Hello everyone,
for the past few months I have been experiencing a glitch on matrix (our forum) that is driving me crazy: when after several days of not logging in I click on "New posts" I usually only see one or two new messages. I have to click on the "today's posts" option if I want to see what has been posted each day.
It has been especially annoying today, I have been away for 2 weeks on vacation and when I tried to see the posts only one appeared (Yorus's post about Civilization and Sim City) :ffu:
Any solution to my problem?
Best regards!

Sometimes the thumbs of the "most visited" in the current browser update the websites and can change the date of your last login in the cookie, which I think is what the "new posts" uses; it could be because of that, although I can't say for sure since I always go to "control panel" and then "today's posts".

I've been experiencing the same thing for a while now, I always check "today's posts" after "new posts" because it usually fails and leaves some loose, there are threads that I miss and they are usually interesting :eoh:

It seems I'm not the only one then. Let's see if Packo or any admin comes by and gives us a solution

And also, I would like to add that on some occasions I do not receive notification emails for new replies to the topics I am subscribed to, or instead they arrive extremely late (see 24 - 48 hours after the reply). As a more direct example, this very thread. I posted yesterday and subscribed, and today I had an email from a nocturnal spammer, but NOT from this thread. Nor from the one by Yorus about video games, which I am also subscribed to, I have seen both in "New posts" and in fact, now I am going to look in "Posts of today" for fear of what we have been commenting on...

it won't be a matter of browser, right?

P.D I use firefox and no problem -
I am with Chrome and I don't see any problem either.

I also have firefox and it happens to me… I don’t think it’s a browser thing
-
well if it's not a browser issue …..
I don't know what it will be, maybe you have restricted rights
but I still think it has to do with the browser or its configuration, because the fact that some of you have problems and others don't doesn't give many more options, I think

It has happened to me a couple of times too, always with Firefox (Windows and Linux), but not more, considering that I log in practically every day.
-
It happens on the work Mac with Safari and on the PC with Chrome, so I thought it was a problem associated with my account
let's see if any admin speaks out…

pues solo quedan las Ips
