I am between Sapphire R9 270X Toxic 2GB GDDR5 11217-02-40G Graphics Card with two gigabytes of memory (at 6000Mhz) is more expensive than this one from the same brand Sapphire R9 270X Dual-X 4GB GDDR5 11217-04-20G Graphics Card with 4GB of memory (that is, something slower at 5600Mhz), which would be more recommendable 2 gigabytes at 6000Mhz or 4 gigabytes at 5600Mhz???

If you play at high resolutions, the 4gb one is better, besides that, you could overclock the graphics to get a higher performance.

2GB or if you can stretch a 280X.

+1 I think 2 Gigabytes for that graphics card is fine. More Gigabytes, probably the graphics card will choke due to lack of power before lack of memory, or in other words, only more powerful graphics cards will generally take advantage of 4 Gigabytes.

If you can't stretch to a 280X the 270X with two gigabytes is fine, there are cheaper ones, you can save about 20-30€ on more economical models. Some come with Battlefield 4, which you can then sell easily for 20 Euros and the graphics card will have come out for a more than reasonable price: MSI R9 270X Gaming 2GB GDDR5 + Battlefield 4 912-V303-017 Graphics Card

Why do you want 4Gb in a 270x? tell me a 290X and it can only be useful if you put 2 or 3 cards, besides with high resolution, because at 1080p you won't spend 2GB with a 270X because it will be short of power, not even with two.

What you should do is buy the 2GB one and faster memory, the 4GB one would need to put 3 cards and play at least at 2560x1600 to be able to notice improvement, memory is always accompanied by power, if you don't plan to put more than one card and only use a resolution of 1080p that extra memory won't be useful, better to have something faster memory that at least you would gain bandwidth.

              regards

If it's true fjavi if it's for the 1080p the first one is fine, I was thinking about playing at higher resolutions like for example on 3 monitors but well it was just an idea.

I guess he asks because the Toxic is more expensive than the 4GB model, but it has other cheaper models, like the Asus DC II, The Gigabyte, even some Shappire, I would rather buy the Asus than the Toxic, although they don't have stock.

                  Asus Radeon R9 270X DirectCU II 2GB GDDR5 90YV04U1-M0NA00 Graphics Card

or this one they give BF4

                  Sapphire R9 270X Dual-X 2GB GDDR5 Battlefield 4 Edition 11217-01-25G Graphics Card

It's that for what the Toxic costs it's worth stretching for the 280x.

                  regards

Well then, if I'm not going to notice a difference between 2 and 4 GB, I think I'll get the 2 GB one, which is cheaper, and I'll take the battelfield...
