Well that's it, as many already know, I bought a Corsair RM650 PSU and I only have one question left and that is the voltage values at idle and load. Let's see if the experts can clarify this for me.

      At idle

      At load

I use an i7 with 77w TPU without OC and the graphics card consumes 177w TPU, it's a 670GTX 4GB WINDFORCE

A solid state drive and a mechanical one and 4 fans and that's it

What do you see that's weird? Small variations? To me it all seems correct, small load variations in the lines, normal by the way, but it's a great source, so don't worry about it and enjoy it. It's effective, efficient, and also with a really low sound level, especially at low load.

          @amd125:

What do you see that's strange? Small variations? To me it all seems correct, small variations in load on the lines, normal by the way, but it's a great source, so don't worry your pretty head and enjoy it. It's effective, efficient, and also with a really low sound level, especially at low load.

No man jejejejej I'm not losing my head what's happening is that since it's new I want to be sure it's optimized because like all things, no matter how good they are, they can come with defective parts. And since I'm in the testing days and all that, I'd rather be sure it's okay before the days go by. :ugly:

And about being quiet, it's EXTREMELY quiet because the fan doesn't spin until it needs to which it almost never needs jejejejejejej. From what I understand it activates when you exceed 40% of its energy capacity and from what I can see my pc doesn't make it consume that much :troll:

I have looked at some reviews of the power supply before answering you and I have not seen that the values of your power supply differ from those of the reviews, that is why I mention it to you. I am also not a great expert in power supplies, but that Corsair is really good, and in terms of sound, I do know that at low load the fan does not activate, and at high load it makes a noise similar to that of an average power supply at low load, so little more can be asked of this power supply, which although it is expensive, is excellent.

Everything is correct as Mr. amd125 tells you :sisi: They are very controlled variations although it may not seem so, the system knows well the optimal supply it needs at each moment and the power supply strictly fulfills its function in each place.
In fact, soon you will get bored and if an interesting game comes out that catches your attention you might go for another graphics card and try to push the power supply and the rest of the equipment seriously, because since you have it... why not? :troll:

Sylver the power supply is a marvel XD but

Under load it has a little coil whine

But it's not very loud, the most it's heard is with the Windows score test but playing normal 3D games or on the desktop etc it's not heard. With the Windows test it's heard "niññiñiñiñiñiñiñi"

Looking it up on Google it seems it's a problem that Corsair drags along in its top AX ranges etc. According to what I've read the cause is the coils that have electrical vibrations and that it's normal and doesn't affect performance.

The funniest thing is that yesterday a friend of mine bought another PSU LIKE mine because I showed it to him and he loved it and when I helped him put it in his PC I heard MORE COIL WHINE and even more pronounced than in mine.

I think I'm not going to send it for RMA in case I get a worse one because his sounds even at idle and mine doesn't.

I was away for a couple of days.

That said, it's not worth going through RMA for that, it would cost you a couple of weeks without a source and in the end they would probably determine that there is no fault and send it to you anyway, adding to what the shipping costs you.

                  Best regards
