      Hello, I've bought a pack of G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 8GB 2x4GB CL9 memory modules
      G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 8GB 2x4GB CL9 DDR3 Memory
The OC I currently have is with the CPU multiplier x22, this is stable with temperatures around 55/60º at full (30/35º idle)
I'll leave you the configuration I currently have with My equipment:

I've been reading around that lowering the multiplier and raising the FSB/BCLK increases the bandwidth of the memories, so it's much better than just touching the CPU multi. So I got to work and I lowered the multi to x20 and passed the BCLK from 160 to 180, so I would have the same CPU speed (3,6GHz) but with the higher BUS.
The only thing I've touched in the bios is to raise the DRAM V from 1.5v to 1.6v but after 5 minutes of being in Windows it blows up with a blue screen. What else should I touch?
I'll leave you screenshots of how I have the bios now only with the multi:

What is the normal QPI speed on your motherboard? Check it and don't OC the QPI, it's almost certainly that, and if not, in the meantime, review the basic OC guides.

        Regards.

          Salu2.

QPI which would be the multiplier? If so, by default it is at x16

I'll leave you a screen of the options it gives me when I select QPI Frequency:

There's no complication in raising the CPU multiplier, but to raise the bus, you have to keep some speeds below their maximum, and that's done by setting them to manual and selecting multipliers that leave them at their normal speed or below.

I haven't touched modern Intels yet, so I can't clarify it directly for you, but anyway, your question is basic, the BCLK is the one that the others are multiplied from, and if you follow up, I'll write you a particular guide, so first, check the basics in the guides.

            Regards.

P.D.: The northbridge is naturally another thing you have to control, with the basics you already do overclocking, it's not difficult, and in the guides they'll tell you the precautions you have to take.
