The 970 today is the best graphics card on the market in terms of quality, price, performance. Want more proof of that? A post I created in which I challenged any user with a 290/290x, even water-cooled ones, to beat one of my 970s (specifically the laziest of the two I had and mine was air-cooled). Do you know the result? No one from that forum, to date, has been able to surpass any of my results.
