Looking for Heatsink
-
Good afternoon to all, I am Korleone (or Korle for friends) and it is my first post, so I hope for two things: Not to make a big mess by asking and to be able to find what I am looking for thanks to you.
Motherboard: Msi 990fxa-gd65
Micro: 8350
DD3 memory: 8Gb (2x4 Gb) DDR3 1600 Kingston Hyper fury blueAs it says in the title, I am looking for a normal cooler (Neither very good, nor very bad, a normal one at a normal price and logical)
Thanks

You have several very advisable options for around 30 €, such as the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO, the Rajintek Themis or the Scythe Katana 4.
Welcome to the forum.

+1 to whoololon. Personally, the one I like the most is the CoolerMaster. I've seen many computers with that heatsink and for the price it has, it's fine, if you're not looking for much overclocking. If you have the micro from eerie without overclocking it, it will be very useful.
Welcome to the forum as well.

Many thanks to both ^^ I think I'll opt for the CoolerMaster.
Now my doubt is, the one that Whoololon has kindly put or the Cooler Master HyperTX3 evo version?
Because from what I see (if I'm not mistaken), the TX3 is a bit smaller but just as handy, don't you think? Many thanks again ^^

The TX3 EVO gives a performance similar to the one AMD mounts in the FX, I don't think you want to spend the money for that. :ugly:

Po…... it's not going to be that way, hahaha. I'd rather spend 15 more napos and buy the 212 right away.
My tower is ATX Foxconn Diabolic Minotaur 3GTH-202, in case you can guide me on whether the 212 is feasible or not ^^

No clue. I haven't found any references other than the external dimensions. The maximum height for the heatsink is not specified.
The 212 EVO has a height of 159 mm, and looking at photos of the open case, I couldn't be sure.
In any case, being a pain in the ass, having the source on top isn't ideal. You have the Sharkoon VG4-W for less than 40 € and it's pretty cool, aesthetically and allows a heatsink of 16 cm maximum. But as I say, regarding your tower, I can't assure you that there's room.
