Many thanks zagales, we have already entered middle age how fast the 20s have passed now damn… but well if we are here in the humid UK it is already 7 months and as long as I keep living here I will stay unless I see a decent future for my beloved country but well as long as the ham keeps coming every month by transport I can hold on XD.
By the way they are not clichés for every restaurant of every nationality that there is I eat out of pity and I still can't get used to eating all the vegetables and even the potatoes with skin but well, I hope you are well and I can keep reading here it makes me happy when you congratulate me and more now that I am a bit far from my people.

            Greetings a hug

Well, you've really painted it for me, gastronomically speaking... I was planning to visit a colleague there soon, but I'll have to think again. I've been before but only for a weekend, I didn't have time to get used to the different types of food XD

              Take care!

Take care, and give my regards!

I've already tried a bit of everything, there's a lot of tapas bar fashion, but most of them are just names, owned by English people who saw a money-making opportunity and that's it, although some are okay, but the paella with chorizo is for them the authentic one xd you can also see in the supermarket a paella sandwich, that killed me, but anyway, as long as there's a market nearby, one can cook decent food, although good bread is hard to find. The city is good for a few days, you have many things to do, always if you pass by, let me know. Regards

I was 23-24 years old… that was 17 years ago... I spent half a year in Bath, a city near Bristol. I know the UK has changed, but in my time, if you liked Indian food, there were generally good Indian restaurants in the UK.

Also, in a cheap way... it was what was needed, the typical Fish & Chips, there were places that didn't do it badly. I liked going to a club until the early hours of the morning and then going to a take away, the greasier the better lol because that's how I went fine ? and eating burgers with peas and stuff like that. There are also people who have vans and make burgers and stuff like that and some were very tasty.

In all sorts of ways in that half year I went from 106 kilos to 88 when I came back... and I drank everything on the weekends :ugly: but I got so thin that when I came back my family almost started to cry as if I had come from a reunion... :fumeta:

I know it's easy to say and hard to do, but regardless of how bad you might be feeling at times, whether you'll be there for a short time or many years. For me it was an experience that changed my life for the better. Meeting people of many nationalities in a place like London is something that will enrich you a lot.

Many of my friends today are foreigners, whether living in Spain or abroad and that without having been there, without having lost the shame to speak English even if I made mistakes and had a macaronic accent, I wouldn't have achieved it if I hadn't lived in the UK for a while. That's why it's a country that although sometimes I have a certain disdain for it, deep down I have a lot of affection for it.

So keep up the good work! and occasionally keep having fun with your laptop ;D

I talk about this because it's what bothers me daily jajja but you're very right that it has changed me in many things and I've made good friends in a short time. They say that here everything is temporary, including people, but some have changed houses and we still see each other every week. Even the bastards bothered to buy me a personalized cake and wait until night to celebrate my birthday, all without me knowing. I should also say that I have a British colleague who has the patience of a saint with me and is the one I'm learning English the most with, and even part of his damn London slang that you can't see… I would also recommend to everyone to go and live here for a short time.

                      Paella sandwich?
With the crap they eat, it's no wonder they speak so strangely. :ugly:
