I think it's important that there is visual coherence between the favicon and the logo because both will be used interchangeably depending on where they are used.

I also like that favicon along with the logo it came from (the one that was put in the proposal for the new theme), but there are no images with an appropriate resolution and they are in jpeg with all that implies.

I also liked that logo, although it can always be given a twist, but for those of us who don't control this, it's a whole world. Isn't that the one that Tilt did years ago, or Bleom? And it was also used on the t-shirts, but I also can't remember who was in charge of sending the images to the company that made the t-shirts for us, because they should have the images in good resolution. The favicon will not only be used on the web but also on social networks. That is why it must have a large size. A 32x32 favicon like the one that is now is not suitable.

The colors cannot be changed so easily without degrading the quality of the image: this should have been a proposal during the contest.

Anyway I will see what I do: I don't like having different logos but if you like that one, what can be done (just to leave it on the web).

But the votes are for a complete set: logo+favi. Both will be the official image of the site.
