How to earn points by participating in the forum

By just participating in the forum, you can win hardware pieces like SSD drives, sound cards, Raspberry Pi, RAM memories, etc. For more information about the mechanics of the raffles, you can visit this thread.

Points are earned by opening a new thread or by responding with the following conditions:

· The content must be at least 150 words long.

· Entries should not be questions and must be original content. They can be reviews, news, experiences, manuals, guides and, in short, any content that is suitable for the front page that does not meet all the conditions of the same.

With the above conditions, for every 15 words, you will receive 0.1 points.

In addition, you can receive points if your response to a question receives at least one positive vote. In that case, you get 0.1 points. For every 60 additional words, you get 0.1 additional points. For each additional positive vote, the number of points you get is multiplied up to a maximum of 0.1 points for every 15 words:
· 0 votes, no points
· 1 vote, 0.1 points for every 60 words
· 2 votes, 0.1 points for every 45 words
· 3 votes, 0.1 points for every 30 words
· 4 or more votes, 0.1 points for every 15 words

In all cases, these rules apply:

· Remember that, although you can copy content from other pages, this will not count towards the sum of points (although it does count for reputation points in case the content is valued by users).

· There are no formal requirements.

· HardLimit rules must be followed.

A user can be expelled from a raffle if their participation consists mainly of empty responses, without value or that are out of place. This will be taken into account especially in novice users.
