Monitor or TV? better combo keyboard + wireless mouse

Good evening to all, I am totally decided thanks to your advice, I have in the pipeline the new configuration of my PC. Now it remains to decide for other devices.
The big question of always... monitor or TV? The PC will be in a room that is 3 meters long, I am currently with a Philips LCD of 40'' and I think that something bigger would be a waste and the minimum I see is 26''. Again the use of the computer will be games, some design programs, web browsing and movies. I suppose that 4K will not be necessary, although I accept suggestions. I know that you have to look for the lowest input lag, to avoid ghost effects and that is where televisions usually lose. But well, I read your comments. Budget... 200-400€?
As for the keyboard and mouse combo, I am looking for something wireless and that does not lose signal. I currently use on a PC the Logitech MK220 and it goes quite well, but it has an abnormal key layout that is uncomfortable. At work we have a MK270 and the keyboard goes terribly, so I accept suggestions. The budget here is 100€ more or less.
OFF TOPIC: I have been told that in a system with a main SSD adding an HDD decreases the overall performance... I found it illogical, since it would only slow down when it had to read from the HDD, then for system loading and programs that are on the SSD it should not happen, right?

Televisions, unless I'm mistaken, have a density of dots per inch (ppp) low enough to not be a rival to a monitor; I say this for products within the price range you handle.It is this density, beyond sizes, that you should take into account; a screen of (for example) 40" with a maximum resolution of 2560*1440, compared to a 30" screen with the same resolution will result in a larger pixel size, with what that entails.
Apart from that, look closely at the connections it supports and the maximum vertical refresh rate, which should be equal to or greater than 75 Hz (note, 75 Hz at its maximum resolution, which is then a trick). That value is the limit for frames per second (FPS for the English-speaking) from which you will suffer "tearing".
The thing about "ghosting", light leaks, dead pixels, etc... is a lottery. It affects both humble screens and the top of the range.
Keyboards and mice without cable... I have never been very fond of them, and in my "jarcor gamer" era even less so, those milliseconds you gained with the cable were worth an empire. I regret not being able to recommend any.
Regarding "that" of the SSD losing performance... let's better run a thick veil over it.

Many thanks whoololon for your response. I already knew there was a difference, but as I'm a bit out of date, I thought TVs had caught up. Based on the options, the AOC one seemed very good in quality/price. We will continue investigating!
