Encrypting folders in Windows or the entire OS...
-
Hello, on the work PC I have Ubuntu and Windows 10 installed, it's a laptop that I use for traveling, the information I have on Linux doesn't worry me "so much" because it's more difficult for them to get in there even though I don't have valuable data.
On the other hand, in the partition that I have Windows, I do have the source code of some applications and that does worry me a little more...
My question is if I can encrypt the folders in Windows (some) or even the entire OS.. since as I have seen in some videos on YouTube it is very easy to "change" the password of a Windows 10
Thanks.

I think it's as simple as right-clicking on the folder or drive you want to encrypt, Properties, Advanced, and there you have a checkbox with the option "Encrypt content to secure data". Then if you want you can also make a backup of the encryption key in case you forget it.
