Since I had the idea of bringing the author levels of the classic Tomb Raiders, the first level that came to mind was this one that I am going to comment on now, Himalayan Mysteries. The thing is that I thought it was more appropriate to start with the "review" of TR 1996 for nostalgia and for the lovers of the saga
I had left this level (more like a complete game) aside since it is a main course, but I can't resist the temptation to highly recommend that you play it!. Great level from one of the best level designers, with an excellent rating which is certainly not by chance. All the levels that Titia Drenth(Titak) has created or participated in are of a quality that Core Design could have signed her a long time ago
I think that for now with this "game" plus the other two remakes you will have enough for a while, so I won't bore you with more "levels"

About Himalayan Mysteries, I comment that the "Full Version" is because Titak published a demo in its day, which I will also publish the link if someone only wants to try it a little, but this post will talk about the complete game which is about 10 levels. I played it a long time ago but I still have very good memories, although I was quite more novice when playing it and it cost me a little more in the final stretch of the plot.

I just played the first game on this map. I thought I had to have the game and I installed it but I saw that everything necessary is inside the zip, right?

I'm very clumsy! Let's see if I learn how to put on my boots But the truth is that it's quite addictive. That mix of adventure, puzzle and graphic adventure is very good.

From the little I have advanced, the airplane setting and the snowy exteriors are pretty well done considering the limitations of the graphics engine.

The good thing about author levels is that you usually download the level, unzip it and play. Some older levels needed the editor that came with the game Tomb Raider The Last Revelation, but in principle the levels I mentioned in the forum will only be as I mentioned.
One thing, the antivirus sometimes complains about the TR4.exe in some levels, since logically it is the game executable but it is modified to be able to run the levels and such. It's a false positive, don't worry about that

By the way, I'm glad you got encouraged @cobito, ask any questions!! And yes, obviously the graphics engine has its limitations, but this game is from 2008, many more things have improved in recent years. However, some authors continue to create levels with quite a few elements or textures from the classics... there's even a famous competition called Back to Basic (BtB) and it's a marvel to play it.

I'll take the opportunity to update the video guide by putting the rest of the levels. Just a few hours ago the author of these guides uploaded a new one of the demo level.

Edit: personally I feel like playing this "game" again, because it's amazing! Maybe I don't play it because I still have too many author levels in the pipeline... but if not, I would definitely play it!
