ONT signal through PLC?

Hello!, I don't know if I asked this question a year or two ago, because it's not the first time it crosses my mind.

I have DIGI fiber NEBA 300 megabytes, with the ONT and a Cudy router (not the operator's) in the living room. I connect it to the NAS and the PC in another room using a PLC that doesn't reach Gigabit speeds, although it has two ports and acts as a switch, so I had to put a Gigabit switch to connect the PC and NAS and that the transfers between them were not affected.

I had thought about leaving the ONT in the living room, and passing the ethernet signal that goes from the ONT to the router, which would be in the computer room, through the PLC (having 300 megabytes I don't worry that it doesn't reach Gigabit). This would save me the switch and I would have the router next to the NAS and PC.

Is this possible or can there be some kind of incompatibility between that signal and the PLC?, perhaps some network protocol or who knows, I don't know.

As far as I know, the RJ45 of the ONT is standard ethernet with the standard TCP/IP stack (the latter I think would be irrelevant). The only thing that comes to mind that could cause problems is that the PLC ethernet is 100Mbps, but I would be very surprised if the ONT cannot negotiate different speeds than gigabit.

I have never tried it, so let's see if someone can confirm, but at first glance, I don't see a problem.

@cobito The PLC has Gigabit connections. I'll try it out.
