I want to build my own gaming desk

I have the design of a perfect desk for playing on the computer, it has parts in wood and metal. I need to get professional tools for the entire DIY process, such as cutting wood and metal, hammers, screwdriver, etc. A colleague told me about the Maquituls store, does anyone know it? If you have any recommendations, they are welcome.

@garciaperales I just set up my new operations center recently. It's made from 3cm pine boards, wooden strips, and metal brackets. You can get the boards cut to size online. There are quite a few places for that with all kinds of woods and styles.

In my case, it's a 260x75 table and a 260x50 shelf, so I needed two boards for each because I couldn't find any place that offers lengths over 240cm.

The rest of the elements: dowels, screws, sandpaper, screwdrivers, varnish, and brush can be found anywhere. And I already had the drill, but so did the rest.

For me, it's been important not to skimp on brackets, dowels, and screws since we're talking about supporting 60kg plus whatever you put on top. Although these elements end up being the cheapest, no matter how much you want to spend.

It hasn't really been difficult to find things. With a little search in neighborhood stores and online, you can find everything without problems.

@cobito Great!! Thank you so much for all the info. Approx what investment has it cost you? In the end I bought some tools around the neighborhood and others at the store that referred me. The truth is that I like these jobs so investing in professional tools doesn't bother me lol.. But I must say that the wood saw from Maquituls has been very helpful and it's very fine.

@garciaperales Well, the boards cost €300 including transport, about €25 for nails and screws, €20 for brackets, €10 for sandpaper, €5 for drills, €40 for varnish and brush, €10 for a saw, €30 for cables, boxes, power strips and other electrical elements and I think that's all.

In total about €450 for table and shelf with power strips in both the table and shelf. I still have to give the table a once over with fine sandpaper to polish it, but that won't be much.

I bought the boards from an online store, the hardware from a Big Mat near my house and the rest from neighborhood stores.
