Intel has said that laptop manufacturers currently have stock of their products for the next 9 to 12 months. This could cushion the price increase of certain components for buyers of these machines, unlike what happens for those who decide to build their own equipment.

Well, it looks like Intel is going to try to take advantage of this situation. If they manage to lower prices thanks to that stock, they could make a significant dent in AMD's market share, which has been putting pressure on them lately even in laptops with very good numbers.
