I've been looking at the Nvidia card, and yes, both raw power and technologies are ahead, now with the discount it's a good buy. I'm not sure but I think I haven't bought the brand since I had a TNT2 one day .
In the configuration I put, I'm missing the heatsink which is going to be a cooler master Hyper 212 that isn't necessary for that processor but well.
Everything is going to be 760 euros, the idea was for it to be less but it can't be helped .
Time to place the order and not look at hardware prices in the next 5 years, every time I open the page I see some price change.

The external connector thing is interesting, especially if they implement it in laptops to be able to use dedicated graphics when working as a workstation or gaming computer.

Tell him the truth, that for that price he won't be able to play anything modern in a decent way. I don't remember the model anymore but it was only for office work and not much else. He bought it... and sold it a few months later. What can you do, he always does the same thing, he asks for my advice and then does what he wants :osvaisacagar. Well, on the downside, when he buys it tell us the exact model so that a few days later we can look on second-hand forums to see if said laptop is being sold ;D to see if we can buy it back with a good discount. Now seriously, show him some video on YouTube with a similar laptop, with a game like BF4 so that his balls fall to the ground from how poorly it will run. :facepalm.

On paper it looks very good and it's all about taking advantage of hardware that wasn't being used. Zero monetary cost, for the user, hence the lack of interest, I suppose.
Integrated graphics have been mediocre for a long time, it's time to take advantage of them.

This is true, I bought a Dell with integrated graphics 3 months ago and I must say I'm not complaining.

Siempre he querido hace un hilo sobre la historia de los discos duros, pero el material que tengo sólo llega a los discos de 5.25 de 20 Mb y tampoco me atrae mucho lo de copiar imágenes de otros sitios.

No le falta nada de razón, se aprovechan del mercado Android y como el resto de Linux no les da dinero no dan ni el más mínimo soporte, que les den.

La gama extreme de los procesadores tiene que existir siempre,al igual que las competiciones para los coches ya que es en ese sector donde se centra el I+D de las compañías, ¿o acaso tendriamos Sandy Bridge a 200€ sino fuera por los avances puestos en práctica en los i7 980/990?. Por eso me preguntaba si AMD había dejado esta seccion de mercado,porque creo que marca la linea de desarrollo futuro. Creo que AMD con estos procesadores no ha hecho nada fuera de su linea,procesadores mas o menos a la altura del rival pero a un mejor precio. Un saludo.

Salvo los portatiles de gama alta diseñados para juegos ,todos suelen llevar unos discos de 5400 rpm. por el tema de consumo,con el tiempo siempre te quedará cambiarlo un SSD…que te cueste casi lo mismo que el portatil :p. un saludo
