hello, well, as strange as it sounds, the solution from the page above finally worked, using the wincris, my mistake was that I was using an mp3, when I used a pendrive it worked. now the laptop is updated to the latest version of bios, the drawbacks are that it only works with awardbios and you can only use the wincris with xp, goodbye.

Hola tengo un asus wl700 y tengo problemas para configurarlo: Tengo Windows vista 64 ultimate un router linksys 624 y conexion PPPOA No hay manera he lledago a que mi pc detecte la puerta de enlace (el linksys conectado al ASUS) pero no puede conectarse (activado dchp aisgnando ip's diferentes al asus y al lynssys (192.168.1.2 y 192.168.1.1) pero no funciona creo que es comoconfigurar la conexion me pide una serie de para metros que no existen en mi conexion. Alguien lo ha conseguido ?.
