¡ayuda error beta half life2 !

Hola resulta que me he bajado la beta del nuevo half life2 descomprimo los rar y le doy al ejecutable y me sale este error " Unable to load manifest file ´scripts/game_sounds_manifest.txt" si alguien sabe como puedo solucionarlo se lo agradeceria pues tengo muchas ganas de ver la beta.

Que yo sepa no hay beta de half life 2, lo que hubo es que un hacker (¿o se dice cracker?) robo el codigo fuente o algo asi y lo repartió por internet. Tal vez sea lo que tienes…nu se...
