Ejecutar instalación ACPI de Windows XP sin ACPI

Hola. Es una pregunta sencilla para un problema complicado: tengo una instalación de Windows XP instalada en un PC con ACPI activado y quiero poder ejecutarla sin ACPI y sin tener que formatear, reinstalar ni nada. ¿Es posible?
