Controladora ATA-Serial ATA

Vereis, ahora ke he kemado la EPOX ke tenia raid… estoy con una QDI bastarda, y claro, no tiene RAID, tiene los 2 canales IDE tipicos. El problema es ke tengo ke añadir mas dispositivos... necesito como minimo un canal mas.
Entonces la solucion mia pasa por, o añadir una controladora RAID IDE PCI o añadir el cacharrito este

esta en www.conceptronic.net , modelo *CSATAiD tiene el chipset silicon image, y como se puede ver posee 2 conectores SERIAL ATA y uno ATA de 40 pines normal y korriente.

¿Alguien tiene esto? ¿genera algun problema? ¿puedo arrancar desde el? da problemas el chipset silicon image?

Solo te digo una cosa , cualkier fallo q de un chip de silicon image es q has hecho tu algo mal, y con una controladora de Sil es mu complicao…....

1 unica referencia para q te hagas cuerpo de la calidad , fiabilidad y firmeza de esta casa es q esta standarizado como controldora raid en el sistema operativo q usa la nasa para calculos numericos, el sistema operativo en cuestion es netbsd ( www.netbsd.org ) y es uno de los sistemas potados a mas plataformas, seguro y rapido de cuantos he visto (y no son pocos).

pues parece que con la que trae la abit nf7-s da problemas:

"Sorry for all the corruption you've experienced and we have finally narrowed down the problem to the SiliconImage driver. Our FAE team has been working with the engineers from SiliconImage for the last few months and trying to test every single possible combination there is trying to resolve this problem. We have NEVER abandoned this issue and we will NOT release another revision of the NF7-S to avoid this problem. We are now doing final testing on the beta drivers and we plan to release this driver officially within a week.
