Solo era una cosa que me tenia un tanto intrigado, gracias por la respuesta.

Aun pagando (Dejemos la mula aparte un rato), supongo que seran mas baratos que los desarrollados para windows, no?

esos juegos no son gpl es decir el fabricante ha portado el codigo de su juego a linux pero no da el software
www.icculus.org se dedica a portar juegos a linux y ejem lo hacen muy bien ya que el port es gpl

te pego una lista de juegos que se estan portando algunos como el medal of honor alied asault estan en beta 1 pero se pueden jugar

bueno tengo que decir algo acerca de la pirateria en linux a ver si de verdad quereis que haya juegos para el pinguino hay que comprarlos si las casas no venden juegos pues no los portaran a linux la verdad esque linux te regala el sitema operativo 30000 pelas que vale el xp la suite offimatica que vale 70000 pelas y un largo etcetera
no creeis que es mejor comprar algun juego para fomentar que se hagan mas en www.tuxgames.com tienes una larga lista ademas si tienes algun problema como el que tube yo con el rune (pirata) te lo solucionan cosa que no te va a pasar con la pirateria ademas hay autenticas joyas para linux a un coste de risa creo que el unreal (el original) sale por 18 euros con gastos de envio y todo
no es por regañarte tu iniciativa me parece buena (que la gente vea los juegos que existe para linux les abrira los ojos hacia el cambio) pero no creo que se deba piratear despues de todo el sistema entero con una pasta de aplicaciones te ha sido transferido sin coste pq no ayudar a que haya mas juegos comprando alguno

Pues a ver… te voy a comentar por temas de alusiones pero no en mal rollito ni nada por el estilo. Está claro ke hay ke fomentar de alguna forma el ke se puedan seguir haciendo juegos para linux, y sinceramente si de esa forma se hace yo seré de los primero ke si mi gusta el juego y no me da ningun problema en linux me lo pillare original.

Lo ke no pienso hacer es como me pasa con el UT2003... si me lo comprara sola y exclusivamente para jugar en linux creo ke la tengo cruda, no he sido nunca capaz de instalarlo (y por ejemplo la demo me iba perfectamente)... si me hubiera gastado esas 8.000 pts en el juego y haberme llevado un chasco al final por no poder jugar en linux me doleria mucho...

Respecto al tema de piratearlos, yo no lo diria así, yo mas bien diria ke me bajo una version de evaluacion para comprobar ke dicho software corre perfectamente en mi s.o. y con mi makina, si despues de todo esto me convence está claro ke me lo pillaria, al igual ke me pille el half life, baldurs gate, expediente x, etc etc...

Creo que mas de uno hemos echo eso alguna vez de si nos ha gustado un juego comprarnoslo.
A mi me paso con el C&C y con el GTA3.

Por cierto, GothM0G , que tal está el Expediente X?? Esque soy un fanatico de la serie y me gustaría verlo pero esque son 7, 8 o 9 CDs no???? Se que es viejo pero si mola voy a por el.

bueno los juegos solo linux traen un instalador para linux ademas
ut 2003 tiene su instalador en el cd 3
¿en que han consistido tus problemas para instalar ut2003?
yo lo he instalado en dos maquinas y no he tenido problemas eso si con este procedimiento
ejecucion del instalador del cd 3 como raiz previa copia de el al /root
montaje del primer cd
mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
cuando pide el 2º cd desmontaje del cd1
umount /mnt/cdrom o bien eject (asegurate de que no estas en el dir /mnt/cdrom ya que si no dira que el dispositivo esta ocupado)
montaje del 2º cd idem que del primero
y asi hasta el 3º cd

Pues meninas92, no recuerdo muy bien cual fué el problema ke tuve, creo ke lo llegue a postear aki en el foro y de ke habia alguien mas ke tb le pasaba lo mismo. Creo ke por akellos entonces usaba mandrake 9.1.

Aun así alkilare el juego para probarlo y ver si funciona correctamente.. :verguen: aunke creo ke este juego para linux no bajara de los 40€…

Ahora mismo no recuerdo el haberlo instalado en condiciones… ahora eso si, el UT iba de escandalo xD voy a buscarlo y me lo instalo tb (es original :p)

PD: gentoo es la leche de distribucion.. un poco compleja al principio pero la leche vamos
