No puedo cambiar de resolucion :-(

Buenas, mi pc esta en la ubi i de mientras e instalado Linex en un pc viejo k tengo, para almenos tener el evolution para el correo, si no el correo de terra se me colapsa xD

Pos bueno, el monitor es una kk lo se, pero aguanta 800x600 @ 60Hz, la cuestion eske no hay forma de ponerlo a esa resolucion…

pues no, no me interessa cambiar de distro ya k solamente lo uso para ver el correo nada mas, es para ir tirando…

Se tiene k poder poner, es imposible k no me deja...algo hay mal configurado, pero no se k tengo k tocar...

Yo para el XFree86 no suelo tocar los archivos, lo hago con el XFree86 setup

q cantidad de colores soporta tu tarjeta a esa resolución??? prueba poniéndolo a 256 colores a ver (x probar q no kede)

800x600 @ 60Hz 32bits

Osea k tendria k ir bien…no se...

32 bits…. mmm igual es mucho para la tarjeta de ese equipo viejo, segun lo viejo que sea, y bueno el monitor no se si influye en lo de la cantidad de bits, pero es una cantidad desproporcionada, prueba como dice josefu a 256 colores que serian 8 bits o sino 16 bits como mucho, que eso si te soportara

el pc no es ninguna kk, eh!

Es un P3 450Mhz, Ati Rage 128, monitor cabra inhumana de HP

Me soporta bien a 32 bits…i en el Linux esta a 16 bits, como puedes ver en el XF86Config-4
