Server con w98?

Hola, unos familiares kieren instalar en su casa una pekeña red con conexion a internet. El caso es q el PC q hace de router tiene 32 megas de ram, y como se usara (poco) por una persona no muy experimentada, me ha pedido "meter windows".
los 32 megas me hacen decantarme por w98 + kerio + nod32 (o un antivirus similar)
pero tengo la duda de q normalmente se usa el bit torrent para bajar d vez en cuando desde los otros pc's: w98 tenia alguna limitacion de numero de conexiones con eso? y con el emule?
