After several job interviews...

I have been selected to work as an intern at Catalana Occidente :risitas::risitas:

To be honest, I am happy, it is my first job. Some people have given me their condolences and others have congratulated me xD.

I have been offered a 500h contract at 7€ per hour + restaurant voucher (I can stay for lunch every day if I want). It is 4 hours, from 9 to 13 from Monday to Friday.

In principle, I believe the job position is oriented towards object-oriented programming. We will do a 2-week training course at the same company and then start working.

I will tell you more later.

Well, any job is welcome as long as they don't take advantage of the current situation and it borders on exploitation, so congratulations and good luck to you and may it last a long time and of course may you have a good work environment.
I've been in this jungle called the work world for a few years now and if it's your first job, then go with enthusiasm and with the mindset prepared for a lot of crap and few good things, I hope I'm wrong XD.

Congratulations, almost any first job of yours should be welcomed and this one doesn't look bad at all. Company with a name, training, light (4h), acceptable salary as a trainee, and on top of that they feed you :chuckles:

Hehe well yes, I have the desire to start. Curiosity to see my work environment and stuff hehe.

I have done several interviews and this interview was the one I did the worst in. Very specific questions about computer science, about.NET (which I have not even done).

And in the end, well, a code in PHP and programming a small application. I came out pretty burned, or so it seemed to me.

But the surprise was when they called me after 1 week telling me that I had been selected xD.

Congratulations on the job and since it's also a scholarship position, learn everything you can. As they have told you here...roll up your sleeves and get to work, because even if they stab you in the back, there is nothing more rewarding than working at what you love.

Well, 4 hours a day seems like a good amount to me. Not only will you take home some money (if it's your first job, it will seem like a lot, no matter what), but you'll also have free time to dedicate to anything else you like.
