Man @amd125, Xrayboy has the same micro as you, the only thing is the graphics, but I think there won't be much of a problem with the micro.
@Cobito the issue with the password is that as they were being leaked and the Caspian map is currently in testing, they have decided to make new passwords daily, but they continue to leak, let's see if I can get today's one and I'll send them to you via PM and with any luck you'll be able to get into some maps.

+1 The 4 cores don't go to 100% or even close to it.
I'm thinking about a Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti OC, a bit better than the 460 and more than x3 more powerful than my 8800GT.
It doesn't cost, nor does it consume, nor does it get too hot and it's more than enough to play at full… -

It doesn't cost, nor does it consume, nor does it get too hot and it's more than enough for playing at full…according to the guys at Nvidia you need a 580 (to play at full blast)
P.D even though according to cobito's link you need 2 :D:D
P.D 2 my "only" gets me a thousand points :D:nono::D:nono:

The need for the 580 to play at full capacity is very relative. It depends on how picky you are with FPS. I can play everything at full with my 460 without any problems. And if instead of putting it on "ultra" I put it on "high", I get a sustained rate of 40 fps.
As for the micro, it doesn't seem to be too important.

With the Crossfire of HD5770 I'm in the same situation as cobito, in the "Ultra" setting I could play without problems but it runs more smoothly with "high", leaving aside the lag that the servers hit.
The Beta is quite finished although with some flaws as they commented here, in certain areas if you crawl you can slip under the floor textures, sometimes a soldier flies through the map or dead people and weapons move around the map.
Best regards

I had to leave the map today because the laser from my gun was pointing at my face XD and I could see everything red, but well, these things are being corrected.

Coñ0, well that's a 60€ difference... interesting detail... I suppose that for 1280x1024 it's even easier than for your resolution or it will be similar, right?
If there isn't much difference aesthetically between ultra and high, maybe I'll save that for when I change the whole team and buy a more decent PCIE 3.0 (or 4.0).
After all, this team has 2 more evening news programs and I prefer not to spend too much (because in the end the game comes out expensive...) -
I think that with a 460 and at that resolution you say Xrayboy you are more than served and more so if for the future you want to change everything, as you rightly say, damage it as little as possible, besides you have BF for a while and when you change your equipment and upload it to custom it will be like a new game XD.
-

man, according to tables it is more cost-effective to get an ATI 6850 "they are only" 160 euros a gtx 560 is at 184 euros this is according to the table for the "batel" for the others …. according to CPU memos and so on......

-
hombre, según tablas sale mas a cuenta una ATI
6850"solo son " 160 pavos una gtx 560 esta en 184 euracos esto es segun tabla para el" batel" para los demás …. según CPU memos y demás......
The 560 is available for 163€, and the TI for 195€. Compared to its competitors 6870 and 6950, respectively, the prices are similar. So, to each their own.

let's see Bm4n if I learn to explain myself or you learn to read between the lines :D:D
tables: PassMark Software - Video Card Benchmarks - High End Video Cards
P.D I suppose you have read all the posts, right? well this was in one "tables" :D:D
that you, me or someone else look at other stores and it's more expensive or cheaper is one thing but what is written in "that" table is another and it is the speed/price reference that I was referring to -
vamos
haberBm4n si o yo aprendo a explicarme tu a leer entre lineas :D:Dtablas : PassMark Software - Video Card Benchmarks - High End Video Cards
-
Let's see if I learn to read all the posts and you learn to write :risitas:
Cobito put a performance comparison on BF3, which is what we're talking about, and I'm talking particularly about BF3, based on that data and the price at which graphics cards are now coming out. You can't be more realistic.
That table you're talking about is very good but it's based on PassMark and the prices in dollars for the graphics cards, I doubt it's up to date, because prices vary every week and in each game/bench the graphics cards have different performances. Besides, the nVidia ones have Physx.
look at post 155 or better yet read it and then read mine "in full" and then draw conclusions

-
That's enough ehhhhh XD, by the way I'll have to create a thread for the game because this one is a bit outdated by title and all, that way Fassou won't get mad because it's not organized XP
-
look at post 155 or better yet read my post "in full" and then draw conclusions

Post 155, quote this:

And you talk about a 6850, which I don't know where it appears?, and then a table that doesn't make sense. Let me get this straight, it shows higher performance for the 6850 than the 6870. And it's based on a little-known benchmark and on the prices of newegg.com… And if you're going to buy based on those tables of the 10 commandments we're going to be fine

What I have said, exclusively, is that for those who want to upgrade to play BF3 for price/performance it would be worth it to buy ATI (6870 -160€, 6950 - 200€) or nVidia (560 - 160€, 560TI -200€), although as you can see the ATI are just superior. And I don't object to buying a 6850 for 160€…

vale mea culpa. I put the wrong post number
nº 174, I continue with the mea culpa I did not notice that the prices are in dollars ( which is cheaper ) if I have a gtx 280 that gives ( always according to that table ) 1961 points and I think about updating the graphics ( not just for the batellfied, there are more games and more programs ) the hd 6850 gives 2844 points 883 more than mine and would cost at the exchange 119.46 ( reasonable
) certainly a 560 ti gives 2972 1011 points more than gtx and costs 164.27 ( which is also pretty good ) but it all depends on the money each one has
because otherwise a 6950 gives 3250 but I think it's wrong if I look at the batel table
-

Yep, I think I'll go down the middle road and get the 560 OC (the cooler appeals to me more than in other models, it seems more effective and quieter)
I've also checked signatures in other forums and it seems there is confirmation that my power supply will be able to power it without problems.
Do you use Rivatuner in W7?? I've tried using the Hardware_Perfomance from the Nvidia package and it doesn't seem to be able to regulate the fans…

Bm4n I really appreciate the private messages (you are right) but ….. it is sad that this is a forum and if I SAY NONSENSE OR CRAP the others do not have the right to that information (corrected). I believe that everyone (the network) uses or can use this forum to search for information and if I GIVE WRONG DATA it is only right that they correct it or disagree with my opinions
because otherwise someone may always consider that my opinions (only corrected in private) are valid
anyway I am very happy that in this forum there is always capable people (and with enough knowledge) to tell the truth and have the kindness to do it in private but.... I believe that for the good of all it is not necessary.
P.D the information is for everyone and that I at some point can put my FOOT IN MY MOUTH does not mean that the others cannot know it in order not to make the same mistake :verguen:thanks Bm4n

-
I also think that within the 560 TI is the one with the best cooling option and you won't have a problem with the power supply, if it suits you my power supply supports 3 disks and the croosfire without any problems.
Best regards
