Hello again friends. The extra payment is approaching and we have all stepped up our efforts in all aspects. On the other hand, I must admit that one thing is what I would like to build, and another thing is what I can build. Although, at least I am clear about the use I will make of the equipment.

      Components:
      Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3 Memory 16Gb (2x8192Mb) - PC12800(1600Mhz) - CL9
      56.96 €
      OCZ Agility 3 120Gb SSD - Sata 3 - 525/500 Mb/s
      88,95 €
      VAT Included
      Intel Core i5-3550 CPU 3.3Ghz 6Mb - Socket 1155 - 22nm - Ivy Bridge
      174,95 €
      VAT Included
      Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H 1155 Motherboard - DDR3/Sata 3/USB 3.0
      156,95 €

      VAT Included
      OCZ ModXStream Pro - 700 W
      85,95 €
      VAT Included
I have not put the case, DVD, OS, ventilation (for now I will put the in-box) and it does not reach, I go over. I am seduced by the 22nm of Ivy Bridge.

But considering that as you know the veterans, I have always been busy with the programs that the more cores, the better. I have the doubt of the winner between the last eight cores of AMD processors vs the four of the ivy bridge. If I look back no. that wins intel I mean,:wall: I have not been able to look anything about it, but I think now neither. But I also have clear, that the SSD hard drive I will buy. Now let's see if I can enter between 600-700. Regarding the graphics, well, the usual thing, it is not a team for gammer and I do not think I will do overclocking, hence I choose the ram at 1600mhz and place 16Gb which is what interests me.
I put another configuration, changing only the motherboard, processor (AMD):

      AMD FX-8120 CPU 3.1Ghz - Black Edition - AM3+ - 8 cores
      147,95 €
      Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ DDR3 / Sata 3 / USB 3.0 Motherboard
      123,95

      :alone:

I hope we can make the complete configuration without going over that price (better closer to 600 than to 700) with your proposals.
      Thanks in advance

I was discarding the FX waiting for better times for AMD. Why not wait for Haswell? If Intel were not so stingy and sold the Sandy at a bargain price, I would go all out for a 2500K. But at the price of novelty, I prefer to wait for the new socket and platform debugged in 22nm.

It would also save me money on the motherboard by going for the Asrock so popular here and I would invest in a 256GB SSD instead of the 120. If you look, the price/GB ratio is more favorable.

Note that an FX x8 performs well with Frtz: Charts, benchmarks CPU Charts 2012, [22] Fritz Piledriver has just been released and the 8320 is cheaper than an i5. You don't need to go for an FX, with a 970A-UD3 you can already give it a go, better to invest in cooling if you don't have a decent and compatible one (for example a True Spirit 140 on Amazon if it fits in the case, the 120 if it doesn't fit). I wouldn't leave much money for memory, I would get the Ares 1333 and overclock them to 1600, the whole pack on pccomponentes is 310 pavetes + shipping + cooling if needed. If you prefer an i5 it's perfect, of course the ideal thing would be to see how they perform with the software you are going to use but for calculation an FX seems good to me. PD: As for the power supply, the TX 650 has had a price drop on pcc, it's a good buy.

            @Obione:

Ojo que un FX x8 tira bien con Frtz:

Charts, benchmarks CPU Charts 2012, [22] Fritz

Clock a 4 Ghz.

With those components and including a True Spirit 140 you only carry half the budget, you can get a 690 II, SSD (M4 128GB for example) and some other stuff even for less than 700€. Cooler Master CM 690 II (ver.2), Plastic, Steel, 0 W, 1x 120 mm, 120 mm, 80, 120, 140 mm, 1x 120 mm: Amazon.es: Electronics

Directly to register on Amazon. They have logistics in Spain, right? Well, in any case, thank you very much Obione. Although it is very tight, I think I will be able to install a heatsink with those characteristics. Obviously it is not enough for a large tower. For now, mid-tower and that's why the modular power supply is essential (I'm only going to connect a few things:troll:) For the use I will give it, I will assemble the essential equipment. But while walking around the shops in the center of BCN, I see that, with the crisis, they are getting rid of core i5 (sandy Bridge) with 8GB of ram for 465 in some cases. I'm not going to look either, I'll also check the forum to see what's going on with mobile telephony, adsl that I will have to use the mobile as a router and I have to look for an interesting prepaid rate. Regards!

With the Intel option I save ten euros on the motherboard and spend 60 euros more on the processor. That is, about 640 euros approximately, without the graphics card. I think this processor will have better performance than the FX, always according to my needs.
And using the integrated card on the motherboard I save a total of 180 euros, that is approximately around 600 € which is within my possibilities. Within this configuration I can go up to 700. Other alternatives are accepted. Thanks, compis!!!!:osvaisacagar:

The total of these components. The tower does not convince me, but if I do not see an option that has a good quality price ratio and can install the heatsink and fan without problems, I will stay with this option.
By the way, do prices go up and down so quickly now? the processor was yesterday at 229 and now at 195….

Well, the tower is a marvel in terms of usability. Easy to clean, install components, configurable cooling, etc. Now, if you don't like it aesthetically, to each their own. ;D
You also have the option of the Nox Coolbay VX which are a bit cheaper and are practically the same as the CM-690.

I recently built a system with an Asrock Z77 pro 4, but the ATX version, and I really liked the motherboard.

I don't like it in the sense that on Amazon I've seen several models with the same name and I need to know which one will allow me to place the heatsink comfortably. I also imagine that with the modular power supply and installing very little, the hot air extraction will be done perfectly by the fans that come with the stock tower. I think the tower is fine.

Discard the 690, it is mediocre and very old. Look for the CM 690 II, there is the advance, with a dock to plug in hard drives hot and the Lite, if so but cheaper. They have also released the version of these with USB3. The 690 II are great, everything fits and it is elegant.

Although I always paid cash on delivery, now when paying via card or PayPal I imagine it will be free.

It is a great Jordiqui case that I have assembled both the Lite and the Advance versions. If you don't use the hot-swap dock, the Lite will work perfectly. It is a great case, either one of them.

Score of the Intel processor 14647 in fritzBenchmark
Score of the AMD processor 12150 in fritzBenchmark.

The difference between both configurations is 13 euros. Obviously too little difference in euros, but yes in performance for the same price, well 13 euros less.
What do you think? In the end I spent 43 euros of the budget, well then I will have the coffee at home next month and that's another 40 euros that I save and invest in the core i7.

The truth is that I don't know how Amazon works, but there are almost a hundred euros difference between the first and the ones that are known in our country. What a mess I have now between the bulldozer architecture ivy Bridge and others. I will meditate in the shade.

Final decision. It really pays off the 8150 as long as the difference in the fritzbenchmark does not justify those 200€ extra of the processor. I hope you like the configuration, although I wish the price would go down a bit so I can get the graphics card. There are still 15 days left…..

It doesn't convince me, better air, more than enough with the 970A-UD3 and a TX 650. Get 2x4GB Ares 1333 low profile so they don't clash with the Silver Arrow SB-E and go for the 8320. PD: You won't notice the RAM frequency but if you want, raise it to 1600, the important thing is to give it some juice to micro and NB.
