New graphics card and slower PC

How do I deactivate the bios card??? One more thing, about a month ago I had the nvidia 8600gt graphics card but it broke, first the capacitors exploded, I fixed them and then after a couple of months it stopped working. Do I also have to deactivate that card from the bios?? I removed the drivers I had for this card but I'm not sure if any are still left.

Do I have to remove the driver called intel graphic media accelerator?

They have done similar things to me, I solved it by reinstalling Windows.
In my case it must have been a driver problem. Have you formatted?
Regards. -
I have been made similar nonsense, solved by reinstalling windows.
In my case it must be a matter of driver problems. Have you formatted?
Regards.I have not formatted, I do not know if I am missing a driver but on the AMD page for the version of the card and for windows xp, I could only download the catalyst control center version 12,6.

I would format it and by the way I would put Windows 7 on it, although it has little memory, but it should work well (I have 3Gb on the PC2 and it works very well with 7 of 64 bits)
After formatting, download either the older drivers or the newest beta, if in both cases it still doesn't work well, then try other previous betas or a less old catalyst, until you reach the most complete and current one, but I think that before reaching it should be solved.Greetings

I agree, the graphic card that has that integrated chip is the GMA 950, if I remember correctly, in BIOS it's called IGD.

What F.A do you have?

There you have me... why the older drivers or newer beta?
What they tell you about the source is also interesting although I doubt if that will be the problem, I would rather go for a format + Windows 7.
See you later. -

Yes, it's GMA 950.

the power supply is TOOQ 500W ATX.
I will wait and if no one comes up with another option, I will resort to formatting + installing Windows 7.
I have been testing the card by playing a game these days, and this afternoon while playing the screen went blank and I had to restart, it had never happened to me before, it was just slow and took longer to load and sometimes the catalyst control center would skip…

Well that brand doesn't sound familiar to me…. Made in China but bad thing:mad:
Not long ago a family member almost fried the whole PC, and it has a surge protector but the F.A caused a spark......
Even if the F.A isn't the problem I would think about it.

Well that brand doesn't ring a bell to me…. Made in China but bad thing:mad:

Best regardsI think the power supply came with the ATX tower.
I think it's this one:

17 turkeys…. The way she steps on papers is ugly like F.A...... It is an opinion censored by myself:,

You caught me there… why the older drivers or newer beta?
Sometimes the graphics card doesn't get along with the rest of the hardware and the "negotiators" are the drivers, and like everything in life, there are good "negotiators" and others that are bad (or terrible). The thing is that some stability or compatibility problems only disappear with a particular version of the driver that manages to solve those problems.
Going back to previous or older drivers is a classic, when a graphics card doesn't work well with the latest ones or with the ones it comes with, going back to a previous driver is a routine test, which often works. And when neither the previous ones nor the current ones work, you have to try the betas. :sisi:PD: As a curiosity, for crossfire I have the latest Catalyst beta installed available for that series, and it's the one that works best for me by far, especially for games, which is where the other drivers gave me the most trouble.
Regards!

If the problems are due to the font, how could I know, is there any way? apart from buying another one.

you can measure with a multimeter the voltage values that the power supply gives, but initially I can tell you that it is a ….. P.M. I personally would not put components in that PC worth more than 0 euros because any day it can blow up, and the day it blows up.....
you could run a stress test on the graphics card, but with that power supply I'm scared

I'm thinking of something like this
Corsair Series CX V2 500 - Power Supply: Amazon.es: Electronics -
I still think the problem is not with the power supply, but you should change it for another one that is a little better as soon as you can. From what I have been able to see the 4670 requires about 26 amps on the 12v line, what you can do is look on the side of the power supply to see how many amps it gives on the 12v line, I have searched a little but I have not found those specifications anywhere.
Best regards.
