      @deeiivid:

      I am very happy with it for now, except for what I have put that I need to fix…
      What bothers me the most is the ip issue and the resolution thing...

      No-ip is open source, so you just have to compile it and configure it so that it starts automatically every time you boot: this will serve you because Raspbian is little more or less than Debian compiled for ARM and Lubuntu is a fork of Ubuntu which in turn is a fork of Debian.

      As for the resolution, the truth is that control via VNC is not the best option since it consumes a lot of resources, both in memory and CPU for having the graphical environment on and in bandwidth for the way VNC works.

      There are numerous ways to remotely control a Linux system very efficiently, with a graphical environment and without the need to run the X on the server. In the guide that I am going to post for Raspi I explain how. Let's see if I can give it the final touches between today and tomorrow and publish it this week.

          The LegoServer is very handsome, I already saw it on Facebook, you've worked hard on it :sisi:
          I would like to build a similar one with some old laptop that falls into my hands someday… In the meantime I will be satisfied with making basic boxes, modding them in the art attack style and looking for a useful place for them in the house :ugly:

              It's cool, and the best part is that when you get tired of that aesthetic you change the pieces of furniture and you already have version 2.0.

                It's cool, and the best part is that when you get tired of that aesthetic you change the pieces around and you already have version 2.0.

                Correct! xD

                And it's also easy to adapt it for specific modifications, like for example the fans that have to arrive or a better heatsink.

                  Just put Lego figurines on top doing everyday tasks or just holding a CD between a few, which would look dead and I know you've thought about it :ugly:

                        If the tech were yours, you would put an F1 Ferrari on top of it with the dolls tuning it up in the garage, am I wrong? :ugly:

                          Haha, I won't lie to you, of course I've thought about it. The only thing is that I have most of the parts in the village and until I go this weekend I won't be able to change the case much.
                          I brought more or less the basics because I came by train, this weekend with the car I will be able to bring many more things!

                          The server works great. The only problem is the fan, which makes a terrible noise, fortunately it works every so often. When the ones from DX arrive I will tell you how it goes!
