The thing is that the one I put you is K although it is expressed in a less clear way, the price differences on Amazon depend on the store to which the ad is linked, because I don't know if you will know that on Amazon products are offered from various stores from various places, hence the same product (exactly) can be found with 5 or 6 different prices.
I bought my 2500K there and it cost me €192 when in all the other places and ads it was €219€, and so far it doesn't look like it's a fake :ugly:

The difference between boards is the overclocking capability and above all the quality of the capacitors, apart from the expansion slots and the greater number of USB 3.0. For example, in the Extreme4 (the one I put you), you can mount up to quad crossfire or quad SLI of graphics, while in the Pro3 only crossfire or simple SLI. The latter is not very relevant in your case, as I don't think you will mount more than one graphics card, but to overclock the 3570K I would stay with the Extreme4, it is better prepared for overclock.

Yes, I realized after it was an external seller on amazon. I messed up.

So the best thing would be to stick with an Extreme 4 like you said. It would all come out to about 412.

Considering that I could sell my old HP, maybe it would come out a bit cheaper.

So everything above (what you've given me), is compatible with the Sapphire HD 6850 1GB GDDR5 and my OCZ 600W power supply?
Is the system quiet or is it going to be rumbling?

It is totally compatible, of course. Try to sell the parts of your old PC and you will get a very cheap upgrade.
It's all pretty quiet, the power supply is what I don't know how it will sound, but being an OCZ I deduce it will be quiet. I have a 500W OCZ ModXStream and I don't even hear it. That is, if you put in very demanding games with many filters (like Tomb Raider 2013, Crysis 3, with everything turned up, etc.) the 6850 will fire up the fan to cool down and it will sound a bit like a turbine, but it's not a big deal either. I know this firsthand because I have a crossfire of 5850 that when playing those games with all the filters at maximum, they make a curious racket ?

I'm going to think about it seriously because I'm very interested and these days (if not tomorrow) I might buy it because I have.

            Many thanks

he he he it's nice he he
I included the SSD in the budget because with 400 bucks, considering what the PC is for and that you only want micro MB and ram, there's extra money, so unless you want to spend less, I personally would buy either an SSD (I put that one so as not to go over budget) or a decent cooler (which is almost preferable to the cooler) unless you want to do like Sylver :troll::troll: who has a beautiful K and a very pretty MB but... can't do O.C :ugly:
P.D about the PC components (or any other store) and amazon, think about the shipping costs and the quality of the RMA, on amazon the shipping costs come out free by registering as premium and when you receive the shipment you delete it.
              regards
P.D 2 as you can see we have both passed over AMD, the new 8350s are very good, about 10/20 bucks less than a 2500K, but they perform less in games :wall: unless you have a compatible motherboard with them it's not a valid option. it was mainly to clarify
              regards

                @Kornex:

And as for the SSD, I think I don't need it at all since I have an external hard drive of 1 Tb (WD Elements) that I plan to convert to internal and put it as the main one to make the most of its capacity.

I don't know what hard drive you had until now as the main one, but it surely has better performance than the one you have on the external drive, because for sure it is a WD Green. I reused in the PC for watching movies and downloads one of 1.5TB, because the usb/sata controller broke, and it is Green.
That is, it has less consumption but worse performance, anyway if you don't have more disks and you don't intend to spend a dime more, go ahead... the games will go the same, although in certain tasks it will go a little slower.

                Greetings!

that's why I say that if you have extra money and get a K, it's silly to have the stock cooler, because then you won't be able to do much overclocking, another thing is that today you don't want to overclock and then an SSD as the main hard drive I think is what you need.

Obviously an SSD is better than a mechanical one, but apart from the money, there's the fact that the Elements I have is almost unused, and since it has a lot of capacity I want to give it a good use. Of course I will have to buy a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter.

well ….. I would never suggest that you use an SSD as a single disk, the Elements as a storage disk and if you don't have any more (hard drive is understood) it wouldn't be a bad idea to make a partition for backups.

My idea was to use the Elements (as internal, that is, taking it out of its box) and a Barracuda that I have that is already old and isn't up to many copy runs.

Be careful with disks that are too old, constantly monitor them with Crystal Disk because if they enter RIESGO they have little life left... I assure you.

That said, you can put the one you have as internal, but think about getting a new disk soon, whether SSD or mechanical, but it will always perform better than one from an external carcase, because as Neptunno rightly says, they are all low consumption, that is, they go at fewer revolutions and have lower speed rates, so their performance for tasks or games is much poorer.

as I told you Neptunno, most likely that hard drive is a Green and that is not the best choice precisely for a main drive, I would almost prefer the old barracuda as the main one and the green as a backup
