R9 270X vs HD 7950 vs GTX 660 vs HD 7870
-
Which of these cards do you think is the best? -
7950 and R9 270X
-
Cual es estas tarjetas creen que es mejor?
If we look at performance the best is the 7950, then we could look at prices and I think that in price the best is the 660, a few days ago when the 7950 cost €199 it was the best in performance and price but now it has gone up and it is better to wait for the 280 which I don't think will be long in coming.
The 270x and the 7870 are the same card, with different boost, also a few days ago when the 7870 cost €149 it could be the best in price performance.

thanks to everyone for the help, in the end I have decided on the R9 270X, if when I try it out it doesn't work well then I will try to return it, I don't think I will have problems within the first 7 days.
Best regards.

This whole thing of asking for opinions and then doing whatever you feel like is absurd, you're going to buy something that's newer but not better, but let's hope it works out.
-
They have already said it before, the best in terms of performance is the 7950, which I don't know exactly what it's doing there when it competes at another level.
Now, about the others, being as they are for just over 150€ the GTX 660, and without reliability problems as in some 7870, it is the second "best", or the "first" best if you want to save money at the expense of performance.
7870, R9 270X and GTX 660 perform similarly on average, there is little difference if you don't go title by title.
-
If someone was looking for a graphics card, the savings were in being able to buy the R9 280X for ~250€ in many stores that didn't know they were HD7970 Ghz Edition tuned, and had the HD7950 more expensive than the new 280X <:( and don't even mention the HD7970.
Anyway, it is expected that nVIDIA will lower its graphics cards, especially the GTX760 and GTX770, and when the R9 290X comes out it will probably do the same with its top of the range.
Regards!

a 261 it has 4frags, I don't change for the moment and I wait to see how the 290x come out, for the moment I am happy with my 7970.

Also Nvidia announced yesterday the 780Ti, they will have to lower the previous ones, the 770 and 760 have been left at a bad price, also surely AMD will release the 280 and it should be a 7950, but I certainly, seeing what is happening, will not buy until all the cards are on the table, surely also Nvidia must release a 760Ti and 750ti and will have to adjust the prices to those of the competition.
The same people might go crazy and sell the 780 to buy the 780Ti to see if I catch a good deal in the madding crowd.

Tech, I don't open surveys to do whatever I want afterwards, those cards were the ones I could buy in more or less time, I bought the r9 270x so I wouldn't have to wait more months and because the cost was second. This card doesn't convince me, I'm going to try to exchange it to possibly buy the HD7950 even if I have to wait a little.

Well, a coworker got the HD7950 for 180€ (+/-), I think it's very good for the price/performance.
However, if someone could get the R 9 270x at a very similar price, that would be the option I would take (I think it's similar to the 7950, right?…this name change has left me baffled:ugly:)But still, this poll was missing more options, I think :troll:
Enjoy the graphics card!!;D

I have returned the R9 270x, I am waiting for them to accept the return and soon I will buy the HD7950 as you have recommended in several forums. I forgot to put the GTX 760 but as it was a bit more expensive than the others I did not put it although now it is on offer and I would like to include it in the survey but I think it is no longer possible. -

It's not inferior, the 270X is like a 7870, the one that should be equal to the 7950 is the 280 if it comes out, the 280x is a 7970 GHz if the 280 comes out it would be a 7950 and the 270x is equivalent to a 7870, I don't know if it will be like the 7870XT.
but that the 7950 is a better card than the 270x because it has 3GB and 384bits compared to the 2Gb and 256bits of the 270x.es more powerful and with more vram and bandwidth.

Well I'm late, the HD 7950 has gone up 45€ and at that price I can't afford it, now I'm torn between the GTX 760 and the HD 7870 and the GTX 660 TI. -
Well I got here late, the HD 7950 has gone up by 45€ and with that high price I can't afford it anymore, now I'm torn between the GTX 760 and the HD 7870 and the GTX 660 TI.
The 7870 and the 270X are practically the same, so the 660Ti unless you find it very cheap I don't think it's worth it, the best one is the 760 but it's expensive, the one I see with the best price performance is the 660 OC one from gigabyte, it will be a little less powerful than the 660Ti or 760 but there's quite a difference in price and besides they're both equal in gaming.
You can look at people's opinions on Pccomponentes, but the 660 must be selling like crazy because there are tons of opinions from people who have bought it, the 7870 will only perform a little better if you overclock it, if you don't overclock it that 660 will be quite close in performance and even though it costs a little more than a few days ago I think it's one of the best nvidia options for little money.

they must be pushing sales on that one, because there are tons of opinions about it.

218€ the 760 if I can I buy that even if it comes out a little more expensive if I buy one like the 270x, the 10€ euros of return shipping costs would not have been worth it.

If it is a good model the 760 is not so bad, but they have lowered the 770 and 780 and something they would have to lower the 760, the reference models do not like me at all in that card, that's why I only count from the models with better dissipation.
