Pc gamer 1200!
-
Hello to all hardlimiters! xD :ugly:
On two other occasions you recommended me to get a pc and some upgrades and honestly I have nothing to complain about ;D
I would like you to once again pour your wisdom on me :troll: and give me a handAs the title indicates I would like to get a pc for around 1100-1200 euros, and honestly I'm pretty lost. I want it for gaming at 1080p but at 144hz, this is the monitor I have:
BenQ XL2411Z 24" LED 144Hz HDMI/DVI Adjustable MonitorThe only thing I have somewhat clear is the graphics card, an 970, I had this one in mind but if you think another model is better please tell me:
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 Gaming G1 WindForce OC 4GB GDDR5 Graphics CardFor RAM I want 16 gigs, I already have a 240 GB SSD so I don't need another one and as a secondary one a 2TB something like this:
Seagate Desktop 7200.14 2TB SATA3 64MB Hard DriveAs for the case I would like something cool and efficient, I don't care if it's a big beast, that performs well in terms of cooling and is quiet, note that also with the 970 many are short. I had the Zalman Z11 Neo in mind:
Zalman Z11 Neo USB 3.0 Case/TowerAs for the processor I was thinking of going for an i7 4790k, but honestly I don't plan on overclocking and they have raised the price which is bad so I'm pretty lost, although for gaming I can get by with much less I would like to get the best processor value for money that there is, that will last me for several years since I'm going to have a daughter and I won't have money for a pc for quite some time xDDD
I have no idea about motherboards, looking around I've seen that the z97s are pretty good but I have no idea.
And as for the cooler I've seen this one around a lot, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo but I don't know how the experts see it.
The same with the power supply, no idea xDIf you can put together the budget for pccomponentes I would appreciate it, since I live in the Canary Islands and I have bought from there other times and I already have the whole thing controlled, keep in mind that it's cheaper for me as it deducts the VAT from the products

I look forward to the answers as I have the money saved and I'm desperate to spend it before it disappears on other things xDDGreetings to all and thank you very much in advance, it's a relief to have people who help the ignorant like me, a hug!

Hello to the forum!
Well, I'm here to leave you my small contribution, at least I'll solve the few things that I would have clear:
Power supply, I and many others are delighted with Corsair, so I can't help but recommend one of this size to you: Corsair RM750X 750W 80 Plus Gold Modular Power Supply
Now, if you look at the long term and are willing to spend the entire budget, I wouldn't stop looking at this other one, which has a 5-year warranty and power to keep you entertained by adding fans until you get bored :ugly:The case, the one you like, because in the end it's a personal choice, and choosing between trusted brands you always get it right one way or another.
Heatsink: I would put for example a katana of the type -> Scythe Katana 4 Fan/Cooler
About the rest, well, if you're not going to overclock, skip the K, you already know that. In motherboard and such, ASRock has been very happy with me lately. Not much more, I leave the rest for the buddies, who will bring you juicy recommendations

Greetings!

…well, after being the most pointed out by the bendgate issue in Skylake, I wouldn't recommend Scythe, for many purposes of amendment that they advertise.

…well, I, after being the most pointed out for the bendgate issue on Skylake, wouldn't recommend Scythe, for many purposes of amends they advertise.
Man, to date and subtracting the Skylake case, the Scythes have worked great, but if you have doubts, you mount a Noctua of the medium ones and you can run miles ahead of anyone :ugly:
Best regards!

Hello everyone again and thanks especially to Sylver and whoololon for responding!

Sylver, aren't the fonts too big for the team I have planned? Are you excited about the 1000 font? xD If the budget is shorter, it's okay xD you don't have to spend the 1200 xD
I had something like this in mind:
Custom budget. PcComponentes.comSince it's not the new processor, there would be no problem in putting the Scythe, what do you think?
I put the motherboard on the fly, which model should I choose?
The ram the same, I want 16 gb, which ones should I go for I have no idea? The corsair power supply I put isn't cool?
Thanks again and sorry for the trouble!

-
Man, a few years ago I was excited, but today I'm considering putting a Titan in the long term... And I was laughing at the 1000W sources recently... :lol:Regarding the CX you put, it's from Corsair's lower ranges, and it's not that I distrust them, I've built them and they perfectly fulfill their function, but they are somewhat less effective in terms of total power than the higher ranges like TX, RM, etc. As a fact, in my big rig I have a TX of 650W; skimping on power will never be my advice.
The Scythe will suit you perfectly in that and other rigs, but if you have any doubts, with a Noctua mid-range you'll have a cooler for life. Or a Thermaltake, a Thermalright... They are brands with very good models in the mid-range and in which I personally trust.
About the board in question, since you're not going to OC, a H97 chipset would be enough for you, which includes all the advantages of the Z97 except for the focus on OC. The downside is that in pccomponentes there isn't much variety in this chipset. If you're going to buy it there anyway, you could choose this one, for example.
And finally, for memory, I would put these ones, which although they don't present a revolution compared to any other different ones, personally I know they work great and don't usually give problems.
Saludos!

Thanks again Sylver, so it would be perfect then, right?
Custom budget. PcComponentes.comConsidering that I want it for gaming, would you make any changes? Any last-minute advice or should I order it now?!
Thanks and sorry for being a pain but I'm quite indecisive xD:wall:
-
Man, you say you want it for gaming at a good time
But anyway with that equipment you'll be racking up miles for a few years, the graphics are pretty good within your budget and with the SSD and 16Gb you'll have enough for a while.Enjoy it

Best regards!
-
Thank you very much Sylver, so you can buy one peacefully

I will already order tomorrow to see how everything arrives, the worst part is the 150 euros of shipping but well, that's what it takes to live in paradise xD
A hug and thanks again, this is already the second PC that you advise me, THANK YOU!
-
One last thing and I'll stop bothering you, the graphics card comes with OC, and the board doesn't work for OC, there's no problem, right?
I'm sure I just asked a silly question but just in case xD
Thanks!
-

¡Saludos!

Hello buddy, here's a suggestion:
The box is quite sober but, it's beautiful.
-
Neofito88, the team looks pretty good on you like that, regards

Thanks Obione for the contribution, which is already a bit over my budget with the assembly and the almost 200 euros of shipping that I have to pay  ¬¬
I went to place the order and the board is no longer available:wall: and on top of that it has no entry date, any good alternative?
Thanks to everyone for commenting and making it easier for me!

I know you're going to kill me, but if you had to choose between the budget I had already chosen or this new one, which one would you choose?
The one I had already chosen xD
Custom budget. PcComponentes.comNew idea
Custom budget. PcComponentes.comUndecided that is one xD
-
And that sudden desire to do OC? Have other forum branches made you envious or what? :troll:
I would spend a little more money on the motherboard to get into OC, although the chipset doesn't change, the capacity always varies from one model to another of the motherboard, in addition to that old parable that said "250€ of micro don't match with 80€ of motherboard" :rollani:
AH! And for OC the heatsink has to grow, you can already give it vitamins :risitas:
Saludos!
-
I can't decide xD
Never mind, if you give me the go-ahead I'll leave it like this xD
Custom budget. PcComponentes.com
I put the K on it because it's more powerful than the other one even though I'm not going to do OC, no OC at all I've seen some photos on the forum with the processor frozen xDD
Is it better to put a 1300, 1600 or 1866 RAM? As the difference is only two euros, it's the same, right?
Come on, this one is for sure xD -
Is it better to put a ram of 1300,1600 or 1866? As the difference is only two euros, it's the same, right?
Up to 2400Mhz you can choose any... from that speed there is more bandwidth but not more performance.
I have 32Gb of 1866Mhz but I have them at 2133Mhz with the clock as tight as possible.
At 4.4Ghz it's a breeze and if you get a good one, overclock it, it's worth it. I'm considering a liquid to plant it at 4.9Ghz or 5Ghz since in summer I can't put it at more than 4.6Ghz without reaching dangerous temperatures and in winter I can only put it at 4.7Ghz.
Of course, I had to remove the IHS: OC a un 4790K - HardLimit :troll:
-
Man, the other micro goes to 4Ghz in turbo mode, without needing OC, it's 24€ difference, you decide, but it's a waste not to overclock a K... It's like having a Lamborghini to go to Mercadona :ugly: In the memos if there is almost no price difference, get the fastest ones, in the long run +200mhz are appreciated. Regards!
