HDD does not disconnect.

"But don't touch, why are you touching?"
Yesterday I had one of those days, the kind where you do something you know you shouldn't do, but you do it anyway.
I had the equipment set up well, stable, and the idea of Intel Rapid Storage Technology got into my head, which I thought wasn't running.
I had (had) the power-saving plan set up so that it would turn off the drives after 20 minutes, then when you had to do something, they took a moment but it was something that I found convenient to have (RAID 1, it's two drives sucking up watts).
The thing is that when I finished installing the Intel SRT driver, there's no way the drives will disconnect.
They make the attempt, but immediately restart, and enter a loop that I don't want them to do, and the sound is quite characteristic.I messed around with the little that's in the UEFI, and reluctantly because I know that's not where the problem comes from. Anyway, I tried turning on and off, with their respective reboots, the "link power management" (I don't know who translated that) in the aforementioned application, but unless I disable the hard drive disconnection in the energy profile, the problem repeats itself.
The tests performed on the RAID environment do not show problems, the performance is good, there are no parity problems, they recognize the two drives that form it as in good condition... it's the annoyance of not knowing for sure if it was the installation of RST or a problem that coincided with having installed it.
But even uninstalling it, as soon as I schedule the disconnection in the profile, it happens again.
Any suggestions, other than sticking my hands in my pockets, are welcome.

How about restoring the system to a previous point? Our great ally, "system restore", should always be given a chance :thumbsup_tone2:
Best regards!

@Sylver Well, curiously, believing I had it deactivated, I didn't even look at it. I was able to restore it to the previous moment... and it's still the same.
Thanks for replying.Apparently there are no performance issues, so I'll leave it be and not bother with it anymore. The previous team had it set up so that the disks wouldn't disconnect and I haven't had any problems yet.
It's more about the annoyance of it not doing what I want it to do. -
I was also subjected to some nonsense that I wasn't used to, it was commented that I could help with SSD's. I wasn't interested in managing the 4 pieces of crap and it didn't make me gain performance.
In the end I always return to my minimalism, I skip ME and various crap to manage nonsense. I'm a fucking coward, I only change the essential: Win 10 for DX12 and as a bonus track the new driver for the glasses (they've marked it as enough by making them work well at 45 FPS) and the fast sync of the Pascal which has much less input lag than vsync.
