Create thread to link configurations.
-
We could create a thread where we put our configurations, in an explicit and well-detailed way, even with images, and then link the corresponding entry, not the entire thread, to our signature; instead of putting it in with stretchers as we have done so far.
Is it feasible?Thanks in advance.

I think it's a good idea! I like

-
@whoololon It is feasible. To link to a specific response, just put a slash and the response number. The response number is in the top right corner of each response:

Example:
This is a link to a full thread: https://foro.hardlimit.com/topic/1542/como-conocisteis-ngasis
This is a link to response 32: https://foro.hardlimit.com/topic/1542/como-conocisteis-ngasis/32Honestly, I think it's a pretty good idea. If no one creates the thread, I'll create it tonight.

The truth is that I look handsome in the new avatar

I wonder up to what limits we put configurations. Do we put all the PCs or do we put the main one?
-
@QVENGADOR I suppose that, when it is linked afterwards, you will be able to put what you think is appropriate; even get two entries if necessary (that is already a matter of what Cobito establishes).
I think that it should be clear and descriptive at the same time as concise, in case it is necessary to have it as a reference in a consultation.
For now, long live the suggestions. -
For me; total freedom: main, secondary, test teams and even past/retired. Photos, videos descriptions, stories, enlargements, sorrows, joys, etc, etc, etc.
I create the thread.

Now that I have seen it, I have a few suggestions...
If we do it all in the same thread, either comments won't be possible or it will be a mess of comments and configurations...
Don't you think it would be better to create a section called "Our configurations" and that each one makes their own thread there so that we can be open to questions and comments? I think the section would have much more life this way...Greetings!
-
@Rules Well, that would have to be thought out carefully. On the one hand, it is possible to comment on the configurations in the same thread since the idea is to link to a specific post. That is, if someone wants to comment on one of my machines, they can do so in that thread and no order will be lost, because if each forum member puts a link in their signature to their post, the information can still be accessed directly even if there are a million responses. On the other hand, this scheme can become chaotic if there are many comments, but honestly, I don't think that will happen in the short term.
About creating a thread per configuration, it may be good to have everything organized, but that ends up decentralizing the comments, prevents comments on several configurations at once, etc.
Both options have their advantages and disadvantages.
I'll create a poll to see what the community thinks.
