Kynes has brought us this Comet Lake with 6 cores at 4.5GHz and HT. With its 65W, it manages to be in position 38 of the overall ranking and of the 14 Comet Lakes we have, it is in the middle of the table. Comparatively speaking, it has a performance practically identical to the i5-9500 and does not stray far from the i5-9600K.

I'm a bit silly, I initially tested in silent mode, which is why the micro was throttling at 45W after about 25 seconds of testing. I just sent it in performance mode, which doesn't throttle the consumption, and increases the multi-threaded result a little bit.

I am also a bit clumsy because I messed up my previous laptop by messing around with the strap that goes to the screen, I short-circuited the motherboard. I have a bit of a sexual side when it comes to computers, everything I touch I mess up.

I'm tempted to change the title of the thread to something like: The sexual hands of kynes bring us a Core i5-10500H ?

            I, for commenting...

            Best regards!

              Me, to comment on it...

              Cheers!

We'll have to create a new section on the front page ?

Yes, it seems like there's an 8-10% difference. If it's really limiting to 45W from the nominal 65W, it's clear that silent mode is worth it.

@cobito Limiting it manually to 25W drops to about 300000, I'll probably leave it that way because I'm a noise freak and barely notice a difference in the way I use it.

The 3060 that comes with it is 115W, but I have it limited to 65W for the same reason, so as not to go crazy with the noise. In this case I have left it fixed at 0.7V at 1520 MHz, which gives, and I don't let it go up in voltage so that the consumption doesn't skyrocket.
